i was hoping to hit the joliet race in 2 1/2 weeks, but looks like my car is going to be at an exhaust shop for 3 weeks for testing and develpment!!!!

Thanks! Yeah, I have that one framed. Did that with all the write ups from that first year of Ultra Stang. Especially the two wins with the Hertz Shelby GT-H cars.

yea yea.. the 15 sec SD thing is nice.. but how comes no one is talking about the 10 second procharger on a stock motor!!!!!

i told you i had a 4 valve you needed to buy lol , i want back into a 3v ..... 2700lb car , full suspension , little 3v , and 456 gears should be some fun haha

No problem. I must have read through that magazine hundreds of times and never really paid much attention to it until I joined the forum. Then the :idea:went off and I put 2 and 2 together.

Simple if i have something 99% of the time it can be bought for the right price lol. I will make the final desision when i get in in 2 weeks if im going to tear this one apart and start piecing it out

Really depends on what NMRA does with the SSO rules. I submitted a rules change to bring back twin turbos on engines up to 365". Weight breaks would be twin 72's at 2900 lbs. or twin 76's at 3000 lbs. Jeff sent it back saying it was a bit too much to consider at mid-season and to resubmit the request at the end of the year. Figure I'll talk to him and Charlie at PRI and see what happens. I'd like to go that route if possible.

Otherwise....there's two ways to go. 1) Run the car in Nostalgia Muscle Car with either a 331" 8.2 deck engine or a 393" 9.5 deck engine with inline valve heads, a C4 or TH350, and an 8.8 rear end. Or 2) I run ORSCA's Real Street class with the four valve and twins, TH400, 9" rear, stock suspension, 26" drag radials.

As far as Butch goes....I may do a simple flat top big bore engine after the season is over. Nothing too radical since I want to be able to drive the car anywhere I want to go. For right now though, I just need him to go down the track.
