Okay guys, I am looking for some input on my traction/suspension issues. To date my best 60" time has been a 1.89. This was on Hoosier 325/50-15s at 18psi. I cant lower the pressure anymore or I get the "death wobble" on the top end because I run the regular street tires in my sig pic at the same time. I also haven't been getting a good burnout(not enough wheel speed) since I have only recently learned of the second gear burnout lol. I have tried just dumping the clutch at about 3k rpm and the car just bogs. Anytime I try to leave off the 2-step the car just flat blows the tires off. I am listing my current suspension and looking at a direction to go this winter with mods to help this issue. Please share any and all info.

Looks like you got better/more parts than me, I'd assume Hoosier's are better than ET Streets for a stick car too! Josh, you already know my position on this. If you just have to put money at it, make it lighter or get some ET Street Pro. Have you talked to BMR?

Also off topic currently, but how do you like what you did here? http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98576&highlight=remove+pcv
I assume you are getting some oil mist out of that side?

I'm thinking I would like to remove the PCV on that side and have it run to a breather tank too over the winter.....assuming I don't have to rip the engine out again.

you may want to try a few more trips to the strip before really modifying anything. Few months ago I went on a TNT night and couldn't get any traction at all, had to leave the line at a crawl before i could punch it. Few weeks ago, same track on another TNT night (different tires but the same kind) and I had no issues launching at 5k on the 2 step. Would have set it to 6k but my laptop wouldn't recognize the serial cable for the WOTBOX.

Point is, the trip I made a few months ago had me debating all kinds of changes and thinking the airlift was killing my times...now i see the airlift and my current set up will hold just fine if the track is prepped decent. If your blowing the tires off, either the track is shit or the tires are shit.

Small update. My fuel pump setup sold on ebay today. Looks like I will be going return as long as its not a no-payer.

Anyone know how far ID1000s will go on E85?

I also really need someone to buy my turbo already. I need a 76mm at least on this car.

I have already made 740, I am not throwing all this money for a new turbo and return style fuel system at the car for 100hp

I was told 2000 were needed for e85 when getting close to 1000. Race gas they would make due probably.

I rate the 1000's to 850rwhp-ish on e85 at 40psi base pressure. You can raise pressure to get more but its give and take as you loose flow. If your running 20psi of boost you are already seeing 60psi when in it so keep that in mind. 60-80psi base pressure may get you there but that's ragged edge territory, to close for my comfort.

For a solid 1000rwhp on e85 I would recommend at least 1300cc injectors.

The 1300's aren't much cheaper than the 2000's.

Do you guys have a 1300cc injector Jeremy.

I sell the ID1300's. That's an exclusive bosch makes for ID as far as I know. Bosch doesn't sell them direct through my dealer.

You might want to check again. I know they are available from fuelinjectorconnection.com and have been for a few years.

Edit: They aren't carrying them anymore.
