i dont get what the fuck is your problem, you can look up the cams on frpp's web site, you can call a reputable frpp dealer and they have them. but yet you still seem to think everyone is lying. i guess you have nothing better to do but find everyone on the internet that you think is lying.....

I don't have a problem. FRPP has no idea what they make or sell and you guys are right. Go for it, I really wish you the best of luck. If it works out, please let me know because I would love to have one...

I think the "problem" is that the FRPP cams have been listed as "available" for quite some time, but confirmation that someone actually has an FRPP cam in their hands is hard to come by, much less an actual dyno that isn't coming from the vendor that purports to sell them. It's possible these things started shipping earlier in the month as was promised--dunno.

Either way, availability or not, it doesn't yet answer the original poster's questions, regarding applicability with his blower. I seem to recall these were for the NA crowd, but I can't yet find that info again for reference. If I do I'll post the link.

And let's take a moment to thank the board moderators for tolerating the "F" word. In fact, it's my turn. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck." Ah, I feel much better now.

Now, you know I'm just "fucking" with you, right? :roflmao: God I crack myself up sometimes...

That is WAY too funny! LOL...

BTW, I have an opinionated answer if interested.

I just got off the phone with Justin (the guy who owns JPC from the video). He said he has a prototype as part of a pilot with FRPP. He said the part number is m-6550-3v. He said he is not sure when it is getting released. He can not even get another one for himself.

He did however say that this cam (if released tuned the way he got his) is tuned for best performance for an NA car. He said there was no bottom-end tq loss and he picked up about 700 RPM's, 20 HP and 25 TQ.

Now, the stock cams are also tuned for NA, but work fine with a blower. I would assume the FRPP cam will work both NA and with the SC, but you won't see optimal gains compaired to a cam designed for a blower.

There. Hope that helps...

I agree. You will see better performance out of a cam made for a blower, though most (if not all) require springs and such.

Honestly, I couldn't care less if they were FRPP or not, as long as they perform well and sound like the few videos I've seen. I'm quite interested in them myself.

On the other hand, I do agree, that I would like to know what product I'm buying. There are a few out there that have purchased them. I'd be interested to see the box. Again, I really wouldn't mind if they weren't FRPP judging by the numbers I've seen, but I don't want a vendor lying to me and telling me I'm getting a FRPP product, when I'm really getting one of theirs. I believe Sutton to be fairly reputable. They run a good sized business. I don't think they would purposely label something as FRPP to sell their product. But, I could be wrong, as I've never personally dealt with them.

You're welcome.

As for cams, I'll fucking stick with the fucking stock cams, since they have been fucking working great for a lot of fucking people running in the fucking 10s (and 9s).

I asked on TMS if the guy saw the box, and if he happened to take any pictures. We'll see what the response is. Since a few other places are showing them on their site, it's starting to seem more legit. Seems to me the guys you spoke to at FRPP were clueless.

I found these pictures on another site. This appears to show that the cams are actually from FRPP. However, as was mentioned before, I find it odd that no one has posted any independent dyno numbers for these. I'm not giving anybody $800 for a set of cams until they are shown to improve HP/TQ.

On that third photo, isn't XE used as a prefix on xtreme energy Comp cams? And $21 appears pencilled in as a price. Is it possible these are simply Comps repackaged for sale using a handy frpp box? Not trying to conspiracy theory, but googling didn't find anything on the part number...

What I find really humorous (besides Don's post) is that some of you actually went to TMS or moddedmustangs looking for technical information and found jackasses who want cams for the sound.

"I'm going with the FRPP hot rod cams because I want that lopey sound."

Why? So they can listen to it in the fuckin' parking lot because those same fuktards damn sure won't race their car down a track.

*Edit*
Just got the specs from FRPP. Lift on both intake and exhaust is .472" (12mm); duration at .050"; intake - 221/exhaust 240; 110 lobe separation angle. Good N/A cams.

Hey buddy!!! I'm a member over there and have been for some time. I know that plenty of people over there are worried about visual mods and exhaust sound. That is another section of the Mustang owners that aren't purely worried about going fast and having a 10 second car. I can't speak for everyone over there but it is a nice site to visit and I am an avid member over there. I am talking about ModdedMustangs because I am not a member at TMS. Take it easy on other sites because every site I visit has different people on them and are different communities.

Now there is an interesting contrast. I pretty much said the same thing in #20, but in a more...ummm...PC way. Nonetheless, in my 50 years I've never heard or seen written "fuktard". Oh I am dying I'm laughing so hard...:roflmao::roflmao:
