gt500 parts for my 07 gt

I found front and rear sway bars with a strut tower for a good price. Is it even worth changing them out, will the parts even fit? Is there any plus to having gt500 parts over gt?

Yes, the GT500 takeoff's are better than the stock GT parts, but not as good as a true aftermarket setup. Some people have issues with the STB fitting, others don't. Buy it and sell it if it doesn't work. The swaybars themselves will be a big improvement, specifically the rear.

I ran a gt500 STB on my car for a few months with no issues at all, It sat kind of close to the intake so I put a washer on each stud to be safe.

My GT500 stb rubbed on the underhood liner and caused the hood to sit a tad high. Took it back off and gave it away.

im going to pass, but the same guy is offering a gt stb and a jlt intake for 175. i think im going to take them

I would like to know more about the sway bars because I have seen these come up for sale, but for not much less thenthe Stillen ones that are available for $189 new (front and rear)

Any comments on those versus the GT500 bars?

I wish I could I give you some valid advice on the sways but I got mine for free through a friend. Mine are Ford Racing or Roush, I dunno...but they bolted up just fine. Anywho, if I had the extra $ I'd buy aftermarket sways. If I was on a budget, I'd get the GT500's which I've heard are a few notches above stock in regards to performance but not as good as others.

While the GT500 bars are stiffer than the GT bars that doesn't make them the best choice. Are they an improvement? Maybe, people tend to play it up that way.

You have to remember the GT500 sway bars are designed for a much more front heavy vehicle. Unless you have the weight bias of a GT500 these wouldn't be the best fit.

Good after a respectable supplier that designs the sway bars per your vehicle application. I would either contact Steeda or Sam Strano.
