Easily over 550 rwhp. My guess is 565rwhp 472rwtq n/a. 834rwhp 756rwtq on the juice. Jpc is making 550hp on there hci 5.0.
Dang what is up with some of these low NA numbers? Lol
Why is that funny?lmao!

Isn't it the same combination as before (cams, Boss intake, CAI, 302ci, headers/exhaust) with ported heads, E85, and another point of compression? I'd say I'm in the ballpark at +25. I prefer to be conservative and then impressed, instead of optimistic and then dejected.
Besides, what really matters is what it runs....

It won't run anything worth a shit unless the nitrous is progressive. You just can't shock the tires that hard on a stick car and expect it to do anything worthwhile.
I assume since it's a fogger that it will all be properly dialed in...
I absolutely agree with you on that point. Him and I already had this discussion on this point. He's only got 4500 miles on the car and very little seat time in the car. I think he can get it to run a decent number on the motor because these cars are pretty damn easy to drive, but the juice it will be a different beast. He's going to need a lot of seat time and some luck not to break it as nitrous cars tend to do.
LOL @ thinking a 3rd gear 300 hp shot won't do any harm. I'm behind you 100% on this build, and I think it's going to be plen ty cool when it's done, but have you ever driven anything with this large a hit? 100 or 150 is one thing, but a single stage 300 hit is going to be a handful to control. I get crazy wheelspin in mine now, even with the 325 DR's on the back. Best advice is to pill it small and get used to it, then work your way up to the 300. Learn to use it, don't just build a dyno queen, and that will be a bad ass car.Steve the cars now are built a little better then what you have driven in the past. I'm sure me using the nitrous in 3rd won't do anything harmful.

I think I need a bottle too.
What? Are you saying quality racing parts are only something recently to hit the market? LOL, gimme a break. I build my cars with quality parts and done right the first time. You aren't re-inventing the wheel here, Jeff. This is something that has been done time and time again by myself and many other Mustang enthusiasts.
Regardless of make and model, high horsepower/torque applications will ALWAYS find the weak link in the set up without fail and this especially true with nitrous cars due to the instant explosion of power that shocks parts instantly. Talk to Will, (Junkie) who uses nitrous for every application on every car he runs and he will tell you that nitrous car will always shit driveline parts - period. It still doesn't stop him from using it of course, but now he uses nitrous as a helper rather than the main power adder. He's gone all turbos and uses juice to spool quicker and get the benefits of the cooling properties of nitrous.
Quoted for later. lol
