Has anyone done business with Raceland?

So I'm virtually a 1/4" away from what you were experiencing? I would think that if that were the case, the majority of folks here on coil overs would say the same thing, but I really haven't noticed it. Then again, ride quality is a subjective experience, right?

Not everyone with coilovers slams their car to the pavement.

I think your car is plenty low enough, but it's your ride!

I think the ride height in your sig pic is perfect. Unless you are having some serious issue with ride quality, or want to get into serious road course driving or autoX, I'd leave it as-is. Spend the money on something else, maybe a WL like someone mentioned earlier.

I mean, I could sell you my ST Suspension XTAs lol

Maybe! I'll have to check into those.

That's true. I appreciate that.

Thank you, as well. But when I see this picture, it drives me nuts.

I just want to close the gap in the wheel well. Not looking to slam it. Just flush.

Yeah, no fender gap on these cars IS slammed. So you're going to be riding on your bumpstops.

I mean, you can make it work. But the car is either going to be uncomfortable as hell, or you're going to have to put a lot of work and/or money into getting it to ride OK at that height.

I've never seen anyone run Raceland's on a Mustang, or anything domestic for that matter. I've always heard a lot of VW and Honda guys running them for reasons that you are looking for, cosmetic.

How do you approach the problem of riding on the rear bumpstops when going that low (2" or more)?

If you take a corner hard at speed and the road is uneven or bumpy the live axle rear and the bump stops will likely rebound off each other with a considerable amount of force and you will instantly see why these cars with the panhard setup get the rep they do when coming out of a corner. I keep an extra pair of boxer briefs in my trunk for such occasions. LOL
I have plenty of balanced chassis mods (BMR upper and lower control arms, relocation kit ,adjustable PHR, Koni's all around, MM bump stops, Steeda HD strut mounts, GT500 front a-arms, Strano sway bars etc) but I tend to drive my cars hard and found a conventional setup with H&R's too low for a comfortable and capable daily driver. Looked good though. I have no idea on coil overs though but I know it isn't going to change the amount of space you have between the axle and bump stop mounting point.

sorry if this is stupid but could you just get a taller tire to fill the gap?

Watts link isn't going to do squat for you if you're riding on the bump stops.

There is no way you'll maintain any sort of comfortable ride when using a coil over that is under $1500. Even the Ground Control stuff (right at 1500 I believe) can be rough. Bilsteins, and H&R SS is the way I'd go. If you really just want "low" and no ride quality, get BC's. The Racelands will probably last about a month before they start blowing out. I'd give the BC's at least 7 months.

Not a stupid question at all. I thought about it when looking at tires beforehand. I had 275/40s previously and was concerned that the 275/35s would look a little "skinny" but I like they way look mounted, so here I am wanting to close the gap, but keep the tire size.

I've never considered H&R until you mentioned them. Had no idea that the Super Sports claim to have a lower drop than the Sportlines. Could be my solution. As for ride quality, I had Sportlines on my 3V too and the Coyote seems to ride better with the same springs. I'll probably order the H&R SS and a ons hard bar and go from there if I don't like the rise quality.

I will first state that I have never used or ridden in a car with racelands
That said from what I have heard from others they are basically ebay specials and very low quality, the kids on haggard garage run them and admit they are trash

I do have guys in my car club who run H&R springs (lowest that I know of) and outside of being very stiff says they ride very good with bilsteins (prob why they ride nice)
If it were me other options I would look at are the ST coil overs and SR coil overs as both have good ratings currently and if a shock blows out (more likely on cheaper shocks) at least your backed by the walmart of mustang parts vs some asian company
