Has anyone tried the v6 driveshaft?

I haven't actually looked under a car on the lot, but my understanding is the v6's have a 1 piece from the factory.

Has anyone tried one of these?

i went up on the hill and climbed under a v6 auto, snapped this pic

not quite sure what to make of it, i don't see the bracket that is normally around the center of the 2 piece, but something is going on here

okay, figured out whats going on. slip yoke there.

wonder what kind of torque that v6 DS can hold upto.. ? i would think since its not on the 5.0 that it wont stand that kind of power.. just call it a hunch..lol

i know the 05-06 v6 shafts will come apart at high rpm's.
i wouldnt use one. i replced mine as soon i learned this. the new shafts may be diff but i'd still be leery.

We have a single piece driveshaft from Axle Exchange that we already have in a car right now and is doing well. They updated it with stronger flanges and shipped one to us last week so we are trying to get our test car back in here to swap it out for this new one!!
