i love my cams
previous best 60' time was a 1.94 with 4.10's. since going to 4.33's and installing a line lock (to heat the tires a little more) i pulled a 1.86... leaving above 3500 rpm causes (so far) too much tire spin. even on my quickest run friday on my 12.92 pass i had a quite a bit of spin with 1.95 60' time. there's a couple vids in the video section http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14270
i had a 1.88 and a 1.86 in the 1/8 before they opened the track up to full passes. those runs would probably resulted in at least 12.8 passes had they been a full 1320.
without doing more motor mods or re-tuning, fi, or n2o, what would be the best way to consistently improve my 60' times. i'm not really interested in having to slip the clutch out because i'm hoping to gain enough consistency in my reaction times and 60' times to start a little bracket racing. (i'm willing to lose a little e.t. for consistency's sake, but not much)
should i look for a set of d specs? or perhaps drag launch springs(don't like that option, don't really want to raise the car up)? perhaps a taller front tire to get the nose of the car up a little? the sway bar is removed, however no real weight reduction has taken place up front. K member? prothane mounts? move the battery to the trunk? any mod i make i hope to make a significant different, not just 1 or 2 100ths
now i wish i had gone to 4.56's instead of 4.33's.
all opinions are welcome, however motor mods right now aren't part of the picture....

I'm subscribing because I need to learn all I can myself.
