i guess it was the plugs. the car felt strong.
thanks for all your help guys. going back next weekend on the hunt for 12.90s
i ran my d/rs at 16psi and launched at 6000rpms with 1.71 60foots

mickey t, 275/40/17s at 13psi with a healthy 2nd gear burnout

Nice, that just goes to show that if you get the car to 60', it doesn't take major power to run a decent ET. Good job.

It's also encouraging for me because you're the second person I've seen with a decent 60' on Pro Kit springs. I'm getting ready to install the Pro Kit springs on my car since it's more of a handling car for me, but I enjoy a little drag racing every now and then too. Win-win!

I'm honestly surprised you haven't already hit 12's. What track do you race at? Mine is 920 ft up. Da's this summer have not dropped below 3200 not even once. I ran [email protected] on slicks with stock gears, manifolds, pulleys(have some now), and just the front sway bar removed. Your car should be trapping closer to 108 i would think. It's good to hear you got it running much better though.

Very nice. You 12 second N/A guys are killing me. At least you're gettin' it done with some UPR goodies. :thumb: I need to get my '06 out to the strip to see what it will do. (fingers crossed for no breakage)

Hahaha... awesome! I'm supposed to take my 2006 UPR Mustang to the FFW event at PBIR this weekend to autocross it, but it will be really hard not to sneak in at least one drag strip pass or two.

I want to put the the car in the 12s with the stock motor since I did that with my old fox body mustang... but lately it seems like all of the mods have been geared toward handling. Guess we'll see how it works out.

Good luck at the track next week. I can't wait to hear how it runs!
