Hello.
This is my 1st Mustang. She's a 2005 Deluxe 5MT and had 33,000 miles when it was bought this past July. I'm here mostly to find common issues/common fixes and other tech. I'm a long long time SCCA autocrosser, track day enthusiast, and did a few years of hobby drifting. With my last car, I did do some RallyCross which is really intense.
My Mustang has some upgrades already:
-Paxton NOVI 2200 SL HO with a front mounted intercooler with the typical Brenspeed supporting mods
-BBK ceramic shorty headers
-GT500 electric fan
-Ford Performance light weight 1 piece driveshaft
-Barton short throw shifter
-Magnaflow high flow catted H-pipe
-67 style GT350 hood
-GT500 Spoiler
-GT500 Wheels
I have a pile of stuff I bought to install, most of it is new suspension components - anything that moves really. I've also bought a new head unit. The shaker isn't a problem, yet - I just want a back up camera and satelite music.
I've just had a problem with the passenger side sending unit in the tank, I ran out of gas with a 1/2 tank indicated. Meh, I chalk it up to learning the car. The sender was hung up.
I look forward to being active-ish. I do follow a S197 group on FB, but it's not really the same if you want to search for tech or how/why something works the way it does on these.
