How much can you mill 3V heads?

Picked up a set of complete 3V heads (cams and phasors as well) for 40$ at a swap meet. Was planning on maybe having dad port them and mill them down to bump up compression, but idk how far you can take these heads without running into issues (piston to valve clearance). Would most likely install a set of comp cams 127500 to go with it, and would probably require an adjustable crank gear to degree the cams with since you're changing the crank to cam distance. Any thoughts?

cant you measure the current valve to piston clearance and then use that to calculate the max you can take off?

Well I'm driving it right now, don't have the comp cams yet, and would probably lock the phasors out, but yes we would check the clearance anyways, before and after milling. Just wondering how much anybody has taken off of them and had success.

If you mill them, you will need to degree the cams.
