I have nothing to add about the nitrous but I do have a set of 3.31s that I pulled out of the car after only a few thousand miles if the OP is interested!

I have a 2011 GT wit a 150 shot on it cai and 355 gear on my stock tires the car wit 11.6 and 125 it was tune by alternative performance i plan on taking it to brenspeed let them retune the car but i was wondering does anyone know how much you can spray at this new 5 liter motor and still get atleat 3 summers out of it? I also plan on goin back to a 315 gear. and will the car run better on 18's or 20's?

When you heading to Brenspeed? I have an appointment setup for Thursday 8-11-11 to get my car finished up. (all kinds of goodies) FYI - Their lead times in the late summer is about 4 weeks to schedule an appointment. The spring is 2 months.

Your car will ride and run better times on the 18's. A 17" in the rear will help for drag racing when you lower tire pressure. 315 gears may keep you from shifting into 5th but that depends on how much juice you run and your speed.

If you are racing weekly there is no safe level of NOS, these cars are daily drivers, not race cars, but we all know that. Keep the tune "wet" to reduce your chances of grenading the engine but you just never know -the newer systems are much safer than what we had 15 years ago, but conditions change hourly, hot days create problems, and fuel can be an issue, adding some Torko 100 unleaded fuel additive does not hurt.

Based on your "3 summers" rule it looks as if you plan on replacing the short block anyway but late next summer check the compression of each cylinder to see if you have any loss and you can take the next step and remove the heads at the end of next summer to check your piston surfaces -the piston surface will tell you much about your combustion problems if you have any.

At least your being realistic in knowing that going low 11's or high 10's will wear it out quick. Even N/A power at high RPM will wear out an engine fast. The bearings are only good for "X" number of RPMs. "X" being a variable, not a constant. LOL.

Have a nitrous outlet plate, put colder plugs in, torco in the tank and ran 200 fixed it. 9 degrees pulled and ran many bottle threw it. Have no issues what so ever except clutch life... 100 shot destroyed the stock, 200 destroyed my 9.5 ram twin. It was fast while it lasted.

Switching up to a blower now, but these motors can handle alot of abuse.

I have the nitrous express plate on mine, first time we sprayed it on the dyne the fuel solenoid stuck open. It kept the pumps from priming and took awhile to figure out why the car wouldn't start.

Nitrous outlet plate better than Nitrous Express or is it all preference?

Nitrous outlet solenoids flow lot more then the standard nitrous express. 400 on the fuel, 500 on the spray.

The plate internal passages on the nitrous outlet supposedly flow more. Up to a 250 at the wheels. Compared to a 200.

The nitrous express plate does have a very clean design tho.

So it really boils down to your final goals. Both will work fine I'm sure.

Only ones that are out right now are the brisk 14s. I use them and they suck. Misfire codes all the time. Other people complain of the same thing that run brisk too.

I'd regap stock or run the Ngk ix even tho they aren't the best choices.

What gaps?

Where can i order?

Im thinking about this because its my daily driver, and i dont want drivability to be affected by the plugs..

believe bbr has the IX ngks. alot of people carry the brisk but id stay away.

what size shot you running?

100 ran .038 close to stock idle
150 ran .032 little idle difference
200 ran .026 rough idle

got CEL p0300 on all gaps with brisk.

these were all fixed hits at the rear wheel too with some torco and standard timing pulled.

Hey Guys,

Wanted to toss some Info at you.

We do make the baddest EFI plates around. The plates will flow 400hp. The first limitation you will run into with our systems is the main feed line at around 250hp. The plates and solenoids will always keep up. Ill get some more in depth information going on that in another thread.

The plugs you will want to run are from a company called Brisk. They give us both the heat ranges and the non projected tip we need to open up the tuning window on a nitrous car. I am going to make thread today or tomorrow concerning this as well.

Guys I love helping out with cars. If you got any questions at all Shoot me a PM. Simple as jetting or if want to go over your entire car and your driving habits and get some parts laid out. I am happy to help with either.

We have been running 14's in all of the local 5.0 including the Late Model car.

I would never spray on the stock plugs.
