Anyone here with any hp tuners experience? I have quite a bit of LSx tuning experience with it, not that it really matters here. I've been messing around with my GT I just picked up, and I was just curious if any of you out there had used this software. What kind of timing are you guys running on a pretty well stock car, with 93 octane? How about AFR, these cars seem crazy rich stock .82-.85 lamda? 12.054-12.495:1 AFR that sounds pretty wacky to me. Am I missing a table somewhere, I see .82-.85 being commanded at WOT, so I'm guessing it just runs rich. I would think .85 around peak torque, and .87ish around peak hp would be fairly conservative to punch in. Any thoughts on this? When I install my longtubes I'll throw my LC1 on and probably go a tad leaner. What AFR do these motors like to make power at? Any advantage in adding mechanical timing, over spark timing, or should I just not touch the VCT tables? Obviously I've never dealt with a VCT motor. Any advice is appreciated.
