So it's finally my time to tell everybody i just bought a supercharger for my car

! I bought Alter ego's vortech v2 sq setup. This will be my setup...

vortech v2
a2a intercooler
bap
39# injectors
hto plugs
c&l intake manifold
mac lt headers, o/r x, and pypes mid-mufflers
comp stage 2 spr cams(127500's)
4.10 gears.

Car will be dyno tuned when i put the kit on. I bought the kit with a 3.33 pulley, but wont be running it. Can anyone recommend a pulley size for me? Where should i buy the pulley from(anybody know of a used one?) i want to be around 450-475 rwhp. Also, do you centri guys like 4.10's? or should i switch to 3.73's or 3.55's? I'm pretty excited and hope to get this thing on in january.

Congrats dude! Its exciting to start piecing together your build and seeing your car come to life. Im doing my Procharger build right now too. I think with your setup you should be seeing much higher HP than your prediction because of the cams and manifold but you can always get a conservative tune. Ive heard the 4.10s are a better choice for centris like ours

I figured i was shooting too high on the hp numbers. I guess i'll need to just look for a stock 3.80 pulley. I'm not trying to make crazy 500+ hp yet.

I hope for it to be installed and tuned by mid january. Alter is doing a whipple. I'm glad he found the whipple, because we've been talking for almost a month now and the deal was pending him finding a TS. I picked the whole kit up, minus the intercooler, for $$2,500.

don't know for sure yet. All my previous tunning was done at LT Motorsports, but this time i'm probably gonna choose between Gearheads and the new shop in Mckinney. The new shop in Mckinney is run by Clint. He used to work at HPP and had a sonic blue TT termi. now he has a fox with flames on the front. Do any of you know how much gearheads charge for a F/I tune? I heard they are pretty good recently. Where are you gonna go Hollywd? I should go there since we're gonna have a simular setup(new intake manifold and v2).

LT Motorsports was good and only charged $225 for my current tune, but they took all day to do it. Took all day on my uncles car too. Since a good tune is soooo important with F/I, i want to make sure i'm taking it to someone who has tuned the same setup before.

I have the 3.80" pulley on my v2 which makes around 7psi non cooled. Today I'm getting my air/air upgrade which comes with a 3.48" pulley and through research I found out that the 3.48" pulley makes around 12psi. I'm thinking if I install the 3.48" with the air/air on my v2 it would probably have a pressure drop to around 10-11psi due to the intercooler, I could be wrong though. One way to find out! There's also a 3.60" pulley around 10psi. Congrats on the FI setup! boost is fun!

my car made 435 on a MD @ 10psi with stock long block and exhaust. So most likely you would be under 475.

As to the belt, if have a belt for a 3.33 and you use the 3.8 you will certainly need a longer belt. As to the 3.6 you maybe able to get away with the current belt.

I'm at 344rwhp before the blower. If you were stock and made 435, that same power gain would put me around 500rwhp. Some of my mods will increase in power with supercharger too, like the cams and intake manifold.
