Jeremy, what is maximum pressure for pancake tank that I should set?
what pressure would you recommend for best comfort?
and for best performance?

Max tank pressure is 175psi, you can definitely set it for less than that if you want.

Comfort psi is about 53 in the front and 550 in the rear with the damping set at 6.

Handling performance psi is about the same, but damping is turned up to 27 or so.

Your pressure may vary depending on the height you need, your ground effects are lower than mine so you may need to ride a little higher.

The car turned out great, I can't wait to see more pics!!!

Thanks Jeremy,
I have it set at 150psi (I think that was lowest max setting).
Rear bags are leaking, very slowly. I think it was my hose cutting job. So I got hose cutting tool on order (I noticed that stage 3 motorsports includes it with a kit now).
Still got to do system calibration (just been playing with manual settings), waiting for hose cutter first. Finish hiding wires and I will be ready to take a for a spin if it doesn't snow any more and weather clears up.

What would you recommend for storing over winter, keep pressure in, or drop it and let all air out of the tank? (usually mustang sits in garage for about 4 months).

Jeremy, finally we had some nicer weather and I was able to find my leak. Can you tell me specs on how tight MNPT fitting should be tighten to? Both my rear bags are leaking in the same spot and I am not able to find it in the instructions.

There is not a torq spec on that fitting. Did you wrap teflon tape on the fittings?

There really no right or wrong way to store the car throughout the winter. I normally leave mine completely deflated.

It was already assembled, I could not find anything in instructions about it so I left it alone. I will be removing airbags this Wednesday/Thursday to get it tighten. I will also replace teflon tape. This time I will test it before I reassemble everything ;)

Nice install leftie, your trunk setup looks nice. Did you build a false floor to cover the components or just leave it open? About how much higher does the tank assy stick above the stock floor? The reason i ask is i just purchased this kit along with the pancake tank and will install it similar to yours. I have a couple ideas on how to cover it up nicely depending on how high it actually sticks up, its kind of hard to tell by your pictures. A good clean install like yours almost make me think to not even cover it to show off the nice work!

I am still not finished. Weather been really crappy here. Finally it should warmup this weekend so I can work on it.
Its the connecting lines that stick out, not the tank. I did removed mounting plate (where you screw to secure spare tire) to make it sit even lower. This way you are looking at about .5" that will be over the stock floor. If you can find quick connect fitting to be used without adapter, that could make it be just low enough where you could end-up even with floor. If you do, make sure to let me know :)

Did not get a picture but I got correct size. So its .5" to clear tank, with quick connect fitting total hight to clear it is 1.5"

leftie, do you have pictures of your false floor? I'm curious to see how you built it.

Oh look at all the air in this thread.
I ordered the latest setup Tuesday morning and can't wait to get it in.
I'll be building a false floor and going the extra distance to try to build some hatches for storage of tools/etc
"you can also hide your weed in there"

Did you go with the pancake style tank also or the tank the kit comes with?
