Yeah but the strut tower brace is a little on the small side and that cap barely clears it. It would do the same thing as the canton when trying to use the one I'm using also again it is a close fit to the stock oil cap and wouldnt let me use my billet one I want to use

Well, after installing my ID1000s and loading the base tune from LRing, Im getting P0171/0174 codes. Why would they send me a base tune that has my PCM saying Im lean...?

I have log files, if someone wants to see something let me know and I'll post it up. Im a noob at tuning and livelink, so be gentle and make it simple...

when changing injectors you will have to completely start over on your tuning process. you will need to do i warmed up idle log first. make sure car is warmed up and log an idle for 5 min. then send him that log.

dont drive car hard at all until you have final tune. very common to start this way. im in the same boat....

Yeah I did my idle log, then the 1 minute log with rev holds and all that. Then took it out for a soft and gentle cruise after a 10 minute idle. That's when the CEL came on. Cruised it back into the garage, pulled codes. Puzzled look on face...

I cleared the codes, and let it idle for another 10. They didn't come back, but we shall see. I just hope they get my logs and get back to me ASAP.

very normal duing remote tuning. when i went to 47 lbs injectors and e85, it took patients and many of logs until we perfected it. i got many of lean codes, rough idles, hard to starts, but it will all come together. he doesnt have the car in front of him, but he will make it right if you listen and follow the rules.

i have remote tuned 3 cars with him... all came out perfect in the end

What tire setups are you guys running? I am still on stock brembo wheels and tires and 3.73 and traction is non existant in first and second and sometimes third. I am going to swap to 3.31 gears this weekend, but Tires will be replaced soon. Are 295 / 305's enough at 570whp? or should I get 315's?

I have a tough time with 295's hooking up and 3:31 gearing ...if you can fit a 315 in there good luck

As far as lasting long enough Yeah i have 555r's and they are holding up great

I'm on 275/35/20s and have no traction from 1-3rd. I'm going to get some DRs but am torn between the Nitto 555R or the NT05Rs. Which do you think hook better?

On the street no true street tire will really hook. Only choice is DR's. And then live the life of 2-3 sets a year. And even on Dr's you will still spin from under a 60mph if you are at high rpms.

NT555R < NT05R < MT ET Street II

The only thing they have in common is the short lifespan, NT555Rs might be a bit better but it's not worth the compromise IMO. I would run good street tire before I would run a bad DR.

edit - the low profile required by 20" wheels isn't doing you any favors either

I had my car redynoed today, it was cold, good conditions. It's crazy car made extra 1lbs of boost and another 68whp. Previous dyno was 570/448

Both times on a dynojet. Last time it was almost 100 degrees.

It was a dangerous amount of boost today, I was shocked. Stock pulley. 47lbs injectors on 91 octane. Will have to order ID1000's ASAP. Since I can already see it pull timing on top since It was going lean at 6500rpm.

Who tuned it?

Awesome numbers by the way for a stock pulley!
