i pay a $68 a month for full coverage on my GT. im 22 years old with a clean driving rec. i have state farm. and also i have a $1000 deductible. i have yet to claim anything on it (thank god). i have 15K in rental insurance and 100k in life insurance. i pay a total of $118 a month for insurance.

and about your s/c, state farm has never even asked me about anything on my car, so if they dont ask, i dont tell!!!

I pay 190 for 2 cars on my insurance with nationwide. 25, clean driving record, full coverage.

i thought about usaa but i dont think i could get it unless my parents have a policy right? My dad is retired army but i think they have to have a policy for me to use them right?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they extend their membership to family members as well. But you could certainly ask. I'd even ask if your parent's company gives some sort of discount for you being related to them. That's bringing in business for them.

I forgot that the $1200/yr also includes 25K in renters insurance. I guess it isn't as expensive as I thought.

Shit is a scam anyway you put it though.

I just got my '09..I've had 10 mustangs...this one for some reason is going to cost me upon renewal $150 a month...which I think is rediculous. I'm 27, havent had a ticket/accident since I was 19..and im getting discounts bc of where I work...im super close to shopping around...but I think it should be more arround $100. Its more then I was quoted when I was 24 trying to buy an '05 gt...something isnt right imo

ins. can be expected to go up and be high for new cars and young people, probably more noticable in some areas than others, a lot of fraud claims happening, those of us that pay will have to pay even more to cover up for the ones who dont pay or some other crap, my GT is only 225 for 6 months, V6 is 200 and the GT is 3 years newer, only thing I claimed was different rims, my V6 ranger is almost twice the rate because of milage driven to work, a lot of different factors in the cost
