Couple of questions. Does it sound like the audio is added in? does it look like it has stock wheels? can you even tell cause the car is moving? lol. Just wondering. Thanks everyone. oh and description says it has sts TT system.

Yes, I believe that is an edited video. It seems like a good idea too. What I think they did was record the same footage twice. Once from inside each car. The video you see is from the inside of the chase car, but the audio is from inside the TT car.

Can't help on the wheels.

It also appears that the end of the video is sped up to make it look like the car is pulling away faster than it actually was. Notice the abrupt end, I don't think that was by chance.

I see... what kind of problem do you run into with this one as opposed to other T kits? and are most problems just cause it's a rear mounted kit?

Yeah true. Thanks for all the input everyone. The vid makes a lot less sense after reading the entire thread. lol.

for sure my car dont pull like that...it does pull but the 470 rwhp they advertise i dont know about...i hit 390 to the wheel at 6~6.5 psi...but the problems i had was the oil pump stopped working for a little and i had oil gushing out of everywhere...because it was too cold...the reason it was too cold was because the piping on the sts kit is so low i cant make it into my garage anymore...to be honest id get a whipple if i could do it again...so much cheaper...

Yeah the STS system seems like a bad ass idea if you lived on that planet Roper was talking about in another thread. the one with no bumps and perfect flat surfaces everywhere... :roflmao: sounds like it's quite a hassle though. whipple I guess comes with the least amount of problems which is why even Ford will put a warranty on it.

oh and Roush:idea:

I saw an STS system on a Z28. NO WAY i would have that here in alabama. If the unit wasnt 5" off the ground it was real close.

Just opinions from a guy who owns a video production company... here are some things that help support my idea.

Regarless of how far away the TT GT gets, the engine hum and turbo whistle never change in volume or tone. If the audio was shot from the chase car, it would get more quiet as the TT GT moved away. The tone of the exhaust would also change as the rcording angle changed and as you intruduce the windshield, blocking the direct audio path.

There is music playing in the background. If you listen to the video, it almost sounds like someone using a hammer on a piece of metal, but it is music. Well, the right front window of the chase car is all the way down (tint on windshield vs the lack of tint on the door window). Why can we hear he exhaust and turbos of the TT GT and the light volume of the music, but there is NO sound from wind blowing into the car?

Something that makes me think it could be a complete fake, the spooling sound matches the car movement, but not the engine RPM. You hear the engine RPMs build slowly and steady through the whole video, but the spool sound is all over the place.

I have owned several turbo charged vehicles. I know you can be at full boost without being at WOT due to electronic or vacuum controlled pressure control systems, but there is a relationship between RPM's and boost that seemed a bit off in that video.
