What do you mean balanced??

Your new pistons will have a different weight than your old did, I'm assuming you had the crank balanced to your rod and piston bob weight. I'm not sure if you or a shop is doing this but your shop should know to do this.

That will add a chunk to the price. Where are you located? They got them to me in a couple of days. They are in Pierceton, IN and I am in South Louisiana. Quick shipping without paying extra.

Bought them from Brenspeed. Got here in two or it might have been three days. Free shipping too. Complete kit, rings, locks, pins, and pistons.

I bought mine from jdm they are 9.8 compression and they were cheaper than brenspeeds 8.5. I have 7 of the 8.5 from brenspeed that I would sell the eighth mine was broke. They only have 118 miles on them so if you can get just one 8.5 I could save you alot of money.

Hmm Never knew people were getting the wrong pistons from horsepower1(foundadeal). I had no problems with the kit they sold me but mine was high compression. I've bought about 6 things from them with a great experience. They sell saleen overstock and a ton of odds and ends. I got my 127300 cams for $350 and a $200 torque wrench for $10 bucks. Can't beat that.

LOL, how did that get twisted around to pistons hitting the heads?

And yes, with that stroker (I have the same/similar one) you have to modify the stock windage tray or run an aftermarket one.

Not entirely true, I just had 302 rotating assembly from JDM installed in my car, using the stock windage tray with no modifications done to it.

Everything was fixed with stock tray...we thought it was the pistons bit turned out to be the rods and tray

Interesting. Mine is the 3.80 stroke and it definitely doesn't clear the stock windage tray without a little grinding.
