Just installed Koni yellows a few days ago and am wondering how I'd know what setting they come pre-set on, and how much can they be adjusted before damage (if any) might occur ?

I've been driving the car and it feels great but am looking to see what turning that knob will do, lol

You cannot turn the knob too far unless you use a much stronger tool than the plastic knob. Go ahead and turn them all to the softest position (this is where I typically leave them for normal street driving). No need to force anything, simply turn them until you hit resistance. You should have about 1.5 turns from full soft to full firm.

I cant believe I still havent adjusted mine.
At least now I know I cant hurt anything.
The drive is so much better than stock.
Why wouldnt they make this an oem part?

Thanks guys. I went out there and started turning the knob to the left, didn't even think to read what it says on the knob and which way the "FIRM" arrow points ... after I did the 3rd one I finally realized that I was setting everything to full-firm ... lol

Yeah, the ride sucked, my boobs were bouncing big-time ... lmao

Back to full soft it is.

There are supposed to be two turns of adjustment, but it seems like my fronts have about 2.25 full turns from soft to firm. If full-soft is zero, mine are at +1.75 Front and +1.5 Rear.

RIP - You will be missed
With the somewhat stiffer Steeda springs, you may find you want to crank in just a little more shock/strut firmness.

Quarter turn adjustments are noticeable, so I suggest that when you do firm them up that you go up in small steps. For now I'd recommend setting the rear shock adjustments at about a quarter turn less than the amount that you firm up the struts.
