I have one of the first sets here on our shelf!! We are installing this system next week on a customers car. We are going to before and after testing on the dyno with stock and a Custom JDM tune! These systems are made completly from 304 Stainless and are mandrel bent. The headers are 1 3/4"-3" with 3/8" laser cut flanges and ball & socket type collectors. Full 3" cat pipes or cat delete pipes are offered and bolt up to the X pipe which is full 3". The bottom of the X necks down to 2 3/4" to meet the over axle pipes. We are hoping to see some good power gains from these just as we have seen from other Kooks systems! These kits will be shipping in just a few weeks so if your interested call in for a pre order today as they are already going fast!

$1560.00 Retail Kooks Price
$1450.00 Special Team JDM introductory price!!

:omfg:

Were these headers made by Jesus himself and then soaked in a tub of his own blood?

Hahaha no these are just top quality, made in the USA parts. This system is priced competitively to what is out there on the market so far.

1) They didnt tell you how much HP they make?

2) wouldn't a 1 1/4 produce more hp on a NA system and are they going to come out with that also?

reason I say that was because I always heard you want lager pipes for boosted apps. Also, with the CP and success of the car to go into 11's easy it might be best to stay N/A.

It's only 200 more than the 05-09 4.6 3v ones, not that bad of a price rise really. About 2$ increase for every HP the 5.0 has over the 2010 4.6 3v.

I mean I know it's not that high of a price, but it's kind of weird how every time a new mustang comes out the price of headers jumps a little bit in price. Plus, since the car already has semi-long tubes from the factory I wonder how much power they make? If they make the same as last gen, then bravo they are worth it!

Even if they did, who cares, let jdm test it themsleves for some independent results.

The 5.0 with 4v heads is moving alot more air than 3v so the bigger exhaust isnt going to hurt.

But thats Canadian money, so about $187 US

I have a hard time with the parts costing almost 50% more than the 2010 and down.
