Hey all, new here obsiously. Just sold the Mustang and now im trying to find a good home for the exhaust. ebay handle is Topnotch-Prices for those interested since this is my first post on this forum...

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...topnotch-prices&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=true

Up for sale is a full cat back Borla Exhaust system for the 05-09 model Ford Mustang GT.

Item info:

Purchased brand new in 2006 for $850, willing to let it for for $325+shipping

Installed on a 2005 Mustang GT with 15,000 miles

Just recently sold the mustang with 29,000 miles on the odometer

Exhaust itself has only ~14,000 miles on it and is in excellent shape.

Car was garage kept and driven as a weekend/fun car

Has a nice, aggressive growl sound.

Easy installation, no welding required. Simple bolt on modification

Unfortunately I cant seem to find pictures of the exhaust mounted on the car, but did snap some of the exhaust itself as it sits now. If you are interested, would like additional pictures/info or have any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me at ShayneWilson @ gmail.com or by calling 443-244-1488. If I cannot answer my phone, please leave your name and contact info so I can get back asap. Thanks for looking!

You might want to try and clean those up if they will. Stingers don't last long on here if they are in great condition and cleaned up!!

Do you have a part number for this system?

Thanks!

Unfortunately No i dont at the moment, been a while since I purchased it. I can check when I get back home and see if there is any sort of markings on it, was there a specific one you were looking for?

I tried cleaning them with some degreaser and elbow grease but it wouldnt really budge, any tips/products I can use to get it shining again?

if your willing to part them, Im interested in the over axle pipes...

Trying to sell the kit as a whole but in a couple weeks if nothing has budged, ill let you know! Thanks for the interest!

Do these add horsepower?

I would imagine a slight increase in power, but im not a dyno so I cant give you exact numbers.

part # 140135

Have you tried cleaning them with a wire brush, and some simple green or some other kind of degreaser... The wire brush really helps the tips shine up again!

you'd be supprised at how high of quality these borla mufflers are... a 1 million mile warranty on them, and I bet they never have to replace much of anything!
:2cents:

Yeah I have the same exact stingers and I clean mine with never dull. Maybe but it looks like they have been marred up pretty bad by something. If never-dull doesn't shine them up, very fine steel wool or Borla's Cleaning Kit!!

I was cleaning them with the Purple degreaser but only with a rag. I can see spots of the tarnish coming off, which means they are fine underneath the carbon build up. I just wasnt sure what to clean them with so i went the safest route possible. And never marred up or hit/banged up.

Will a wire brush scuff up the metal on the tips at all? That is why i just used the rag.

you should be fine, Ive used a wire brush on mine maybe 30-50 times and the shine is still strong, but I think the carbon build up is getting more overwhelming for the coat on mine. After all ths time of cleaning them that way, you can barely notice brush marks on my tips... That also says something about the quality of these haha! I love mine

Bump for the Best sounding Axle Backs for the S197 platform!

If GT Speeder wants the over axle pipes, I'd probably be interested in the mufflers. Let me know if you want to separate and how much.
