I have an Airaid CAI, Pypes LTs, and hi-flow catted x-pipe, Flowmaster outlaw AxleBack, Ford Racing intake, GT500 60mm TB on my '09. Dyno Tuned by my guy here in Pa. Got 309 RWHP and 301 RWTQ. Then I installed Howards Rattler Cams and brand new chains/tensioners/phasers, etc... and the same guy Dyno tuned it and came out with a very disappointing 315 RWHP and 300 RWTQ. So I contacted Lito and he sent me a base tune because he said he can get at least 330 RWHP and 325-330 TQ. So I will be uploading the tune tomorrow, data logging the idle parameters tomorrow, and sending him the results, then I will be anxiously awaiting the next tune. My guy said the Rattlers LSAs had hardly any overlap compared to Ford racing cams or Detroit rockers, and said the Rattlers are better suited for forced induction. We shall see, and I will post the results.

Good to hear Lito came through for you. Good numbers too, that’s almost 400 at the flywheel.

Yep. I'm happy with it. Going WOT from 2000-6500 RPMs was a trip, especially with 4:10's. I think I used over 1/4 tank of gas on that pull, lol. That's all I'm doing to her as far as the engine. I would love to get a 6-speed transmission, but the ole lady put the kibosh on that one. Maybe if I were a young man again (and single), I'd go for FA too.

Can someone tell me if I need to have an SCT tuner to upload a Lito tune? Or how do I do that? I’m looking into getting a Lito tune and just curious how I’m going to upload it

Went to Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA a few weeks ago. My car is a 2005 Roush Sport (basically a GT powertrain) with JBA short tubes, Ford Hot Rod cams, Ford racing intake, Ford racing 62mm TB, Steeda CAI, 4.10 gears and a manual trans. When I bought the car the tuner and dyno sheets were missing. VMP had their dyno-let at Carlisle so figured 'let's see'. Not impressed. 308 RWHP @ 6400 RPM and 293 lb/ft @ 4990 RPM. Chart shows no drop off until it hit the rev-limiter at 6500 RPM. I bought a tuner and contacted Lito. Received my first version a few days ago and sent him the idle log. He came back saying all looked good and to drive it around and gather more logs including a 3rd gear 2000-6500 RPM pull. That was fun...lol. Logs show I hit 6717 RPM before it either hit the rev-limiter or valve float. Couldn't really tell because I was just letting off the throttle when it 'bobbled'. Sent him the logs and waiting on his response but the car runs great already. I'm figuring I should be closer to around 330 RWHP but even more than that I'm hoping to improve my extremely low torque numbers.

Not likely to be valve float. FRPP Hot Rods are safe until 6800 RPM on stock valvetrain.

You probably hit the limiter, though I think Lito usually sets it to 6800.
