Looking to buy wheels and bugging about The weight

Okay so I'm looking to buy a set of wheels and I am starting to worry about the wheel weights. I don't track the car much just go on cruises and sometimes poke around. I don't want my car to feel slower just to have nice wheels.

I'm looking to buy maybe the stance sc5, I called and they said the 20x10 wer 29lbs. Is that high?

What does your wheels way weight?

26 to 30 should be a good weight. Check tire weights, they really vary.

If you don't track the car I highly doubt your butt dyno is going to be able to tell the difference in weight.

the wheel set i just bought was by far the hardest wheel set ive ever purchased. i knew what i wanted and the price i wanted to pay. sometimes the more you know the more you struggle.

Fronts are just under 27lbs and the rears are 29lbs. 20x9 and 20x10.5. I'll shoot you over costs when I get more information tomorrow.

Agreed on varying weights of Tires....for example I found that the Nitto INVO's were way heavier than the current Hankook's I run now.....and my butt DYNO could tell the difference....

Id say the butt dyno can tell the difference a lot of times. I would say if I went with some lightweight 18s on my car It would pick up 20-25 hp at the wheels. I saw someone who did a test between their 20s and brembo 19's and they picked up 20 rwhp at 500.

I have tsw interlagos the rear are 20 x 10 24.45lbs and front 20 x 8.5 22.25lbs they are not to expensive and you could have it in sylver or black.

How much difference is there between the two? I thought about getting new wheels but there would have to be a noticeable weight difference. Current weight it 63# wheel/tire combo
