even if it's a email tune shouldn't we all expect to have some changes made if need be? 200 bucks is 200 bucks and one of the most expensive single non dyno tunes out there, I use lund but haven't had any real problems except for some timing being pulled because of knock due to some shitty gas but, Damn I would hope for my 200 dollars to have some datalogs sent and to correct issues if there were some, And Just a good buisness practice. Every car is different and not every off the shelf tune is optimal.

Of course we will correct any issues. He didn't have any issues. He just wanted more MPH. I looked at his logs and they were exactly like they should be. We don't get very aggressive with timing because that is what kills them. Other jam as much timing in as they can and ride the knock sensors all day long.

My point is there is nothing wrong with our tune and we don't include dataloggging support like you are looking for. I'm not looking to argue with you.

Like I said I'm glad you are happy with your new tune and good luck with your car.

You're right there wasn't, it just wasn't making as much power as I (and you) expected. And thanks.

all that and .08 ET difference? the trap difference of 3 mph could be racked up to difference in the tracks clocks, they should be consistent...but one never knows for sure.

Well the track where I trapped faster at is actually known for being on the slow side and the track where I trapped slower is known for being a fast track and a lot of records are set there... But you're right, no one knows for sure. I wanted to run the Lund Racing tune that night as well, but it wouldn't load on my car. I'm not sure what's going on with the tunes from them but they keep not loading on my car and it's irritating. I almost was stranded 2.5 hours from home because of it. I couldn't flash back to stock to put the other tune in and my car wouldn't do anything. Luckily I thought to disconnect the battery for a lil bit and try again. Otherwise I would have been quite pissed lol.

Good experienence w/Jon before Ken was with Lund Racing.

Same good experience after Ken joined.

Both Ken and Jon have gone above and beyond on several issues I had with my Mustang, and now with an F150 (laugh if you will :)

I've always gotten prompt responses form both Jon and Ken. When I don't, I resend the email, then get a pretty prompt response. You have to realize the volume these guys see, sometimes things get lost in the mix, it happens to everyone.

Oh I know they do a lot. I also know that Bama does a ton too, but I've gotten better service from them. They never left me hangin for 2+ weeks or told me they'd send me a tune one day and then over 5 days later finally send it out. Maybe they shouldn't take on so much.. Just my $.02.

Exactly. I spent the $200 on them over considerably cheaper tuners - Steeda, Brenspeed, Bama, BBR, VMP, etc - bc they were supposed to be the best. Then when I put down power and ran mph that some stock cars run, it bothered me and made it feel like kind of a waste.

You're right, I wanted the power I should have had. I'm glad you guys don't go aggressive with timing bc that kills engines.

It's interesting to note though that my 92 octane tune from Bama runs less spark according to the datalogs and is slightly richer than the tune you sent me...

Like was said earlier, some people are still trapping more than you with less. Maybe you got a turd from the factory.

But the fact is, you got what you paid for. A good running car. Maybe you think it runs better now. And I have already told you I'm happy for you.

Ehh I'm happy with solidly 90+mph in the 1/8 and solidly over 114mph in the 1/4.

And I already told you thanks lol.

Don't you need to actually order one and pay for it to get a tune?

I was hoping for an unemployment free bee

I'm still waiting for Nick to dyno his monster with all the work he did with Lund. Come on nick.. lets roll to TPS and check it out. I'm bored

Ken is a stand up honest guy. He was the only person to tune my 3v. Was so glad he was with SCT again. He now tunes my 4v. Currently waiting for a revision that should make me smile even more. Look out mid 11s here we come!

This guy is a community retard. See the CAI thread.....:omfg:

Based on what I have seen via his YouTube post and he making this thread, he is acting as a puppeteer for Bama. They must have given him a free tune for his endorsement ;)

Anywho, how many 5.0's has Bama blown up due to their superior tuning? For those curious, never take anything at face value....

Community retard is correct. Why even metion Lund in his youtube vid? Has to be an endorsment for Bama the way he worded everything. This goofy fuck has no idea what goes into tuning a new 5.0 and the total experience Jon and Ken have working with these motors. Oh well like Mom said you just can't fix stupid.....

I'm glad someone said what I've been thinking. Follow some of his posts on other sites and you'll see.

Lol really? I gave my experiences with both companies. Facts speak for themselves. Don't be naive. For me Bama has better performance, better customer service, better price, more tunes, more support, cylinder 8 warranty, and free tunes for life.. Stop being Lund fanboys and look at the facts.. I let you guys talk me into getting their tune to start and I wish I hadn't. Oh well. And no I didn't get free tunes in return for the good review. They didn't even know I was gonna post a review lol.

If you look at the facts your naive ass would know that bama's number 8 warranty is only good if you have run their tune and only their tune from the beginning. Guess your out of luck.

Did you run both tunes on the same day under same conditions? If not, your comparison is null.

to be honest with you Iceguy, you're kindve like the guy who wants to reinvent the wheel when others have already been there, done that and have the t-shirt from it. We know what combinations work and what do not work but everything you're spouting is pretty much 100% incorrect from your test methods and how you present your results as gospel.

Especially how you claim a CAI is uselful and how you tested it lol.

Lol I'm not talking about me in particular. I'm talking about when trying to help the mustang community. Look at the facts. Look at what is offered by each company. Then make the decision.

I tried to run the Lund tune, but like what happened a few times before, it wouldn't load on my car. But I did run at a notoriously slower track, in the same DA, with the same mods. Sorry best I could do.

And for the CAI, I didn't test shit lol. I was just saying everyone says it only makes more power than stock on a dyno due to IATs being low because the hood is open and on the street while driving IATs are the same as if the hood was open so it only makes sense it would be the same thing. But that's a different discussion for a different thread.

Woo hoo! What was the your mph and the DA? I highly doubt it was positive lol. Or you were on a tire.
