They are triple stepped. 1 7/8" x 2" x 2 1/8" into 3.5" merge collectors. I am building them so I can remove and install them without taking the engine off of it's mounts. I am also making them equal length.

I finished the drivers side header and I feel like it turned out pretty good. 3 of the tubes are right at 32" long but the 4th is at 29". Due to the steering shaft, there wasn't anyway to make the 4th pipe 32". Not sure if it will make much difference in power, but there wasn't anyway around it. When unbolted, the header literally falls out of the car. I intenionally designed the headers so they wrap forward and then back. Since this is an endurance car, I wanted as much room as possible between the headers and the floor to minimize the floor heat. They hang about 2" below the frame rail which leaves 4" from the bottom of the collector to the ground.

Tomorrow, I will finish the RH header and then send them off to be coated on Monday.

Looks good. Thats a bummer you weren't able to get that side equal length. It shouldn't have too much of an effect though.

Color me impressed.

That short tube will probably cost you 200hp. But you can probably off-set it with more stickers.

Here is the passenger side ready for final welding. I still have to stretch the tubes into the flange ports too. The passenger header comes out very easy also. However, in order to get the starter out, the header has to come off.

Looking good Marc. IIRC Jet Hot is located in Auburn. Is that where you are taking them for coating?

I'm going to have Performance coatings in Auburn do them. With any luck, they can do them right away. Microsoft wants to come down on Thursday and do sound files of it for the new Forza video game.
