LOL...massaging nuts? Wow..."pot, this is kettle, over!"

Doesn't it strike you as odd that 95% of the people on here that have no dog in the fight understand and agree with Seer? So we ALL have to be wrong and you/your affiliation with MBRP must be right...:omfg:

If I were you I would bow out of this one and let Seer and the MBPR rep-who obvisouly joined this forum based on your input to him-sort it out...you are digging a hole and the first rule when digging a hole is to put down the shovel.

I'm not digging anything, I'm just not a sheep. I have a set of these particular mufflers, I know a rep, nothing more. Does that give me some more motivation to question him? Sure, I dont think my logic has been skewed in any way, if you think it has, debate me about it. I dont think this was cause by anything other than a type of backfire, period. You show me a case where something like this happened on a car without a WOT box, or nitrous, u let me know

I mean, what's to say you could buy a set of mufflers, put a few thousand miles on them, decide u don't like the sound, then toss an M80 in one and then say it happened under accel, pretty easy way to get a set of diff mufflers.

This is possibly the dumbest thing I've read from someone being serious in a long time.

I was giving an example and clearly stated I wasn't suggesting that's what happened..

And a pretty stupid example, at that.

I can see why u might think that seeing as how im questioning you instead of massaging your nuts like most in here

Having questions about the situation is one thing...interrogating him like he's being deceitful is another.
You've chosen option #2, obviously.

I consider him a friend, I dont know what u mean by quite chummy? Lol

Meaning you would likely stroke his nuts quite a bit in a situation....I dunno....like this thread?

Seriously, I don't know Seer from anyone else on this site. I've read 90% of what's been posted.
Doesn't sound a bit like he's expectations of MBRP are outrageous or anything but what I personally would expect if I had bought a product, used it with it's intended use, didn't push it beyond manufacture specs and it blew out a seam (or similar point of failure).
If all companies pushed back this hard on something that's pretty obvious a flaw be it an isolated one or not...there would be a LOT of businesses not doing any.

MBRP? Eh, won't get my money.
Ever.

I have a feeling this thread may be locked after I drop this bomb

Looks like Mr. Jason Rubin isn't quite the honest person we take him for, and has been caught in MANY lies before

you can read the first couple of posts, then scroll to post #19
http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=211423

So, you've been owned on other forums for being a lying douche, and then come over here and never expect it to follow you? :omfg:

Its ok, its now good to know you CAN'T be trusted, for your opinion, or a part you claim is defective  :liar:

want more, just google Jason Rubin Wax

so there you have it folks. . . a proven liar and scammer. . . little digging on something that reeks of bull$hit goes a long way. . . :highfive:

I win

This also shows your lack of professionalism, now I have nothing to hide in this situation because it is what it is. You guys put a defective product out there and now are not owning up to your obligations to make what is right. But not only can't you not pay attention to simple detail especially the notice and disclaimer at the bottom of Summit's email (that you screen shotted) asking for you to keep this private you are also releasing a customer's personal information. You are not representing your company very well.

And it looks like your professionalism is a degree in bull$hit with a minor in scamming. . . good job. . . how many engineering degrees do you have again?

Looks like I was right huh? like i stated before, this seemed fishy, so i questioned it. . . maybe my questioning was because I know a rep and have a set of the mufflers, regardless, I wasn't far off. I still appreciate you though :)

This whole post was disrespectful to me, either you don't understand 3rd grade physics, or you're just swinging from nuts like everyone else. . . regardless, you can :kma:

And for the rest of you insulting nutswingers. . . i expect an apology. . .you can PM it to me if you like :)

First off asshole, you're not the first person to post this garbage on this website. I also had a conversation about this with Jewc yesterday. I am not ashamed what happened in the past because I ended up winning in the end.

Second, the incident youre posting about actually ended up in me winning a judgement of libel against the auto forums.

Third, the degree posted on the gto forum was not from me, it was from me, it was from someone else playing idiotic games.

Fourth, if I was scamming people why did I offer each customer a 110% refund if they were not satified with the product due to the witch hunt and no one took me up on it? I essentially offered people a free product and a refund due to the childish witch hunt to assure them they were not scammed. ZERO came back and asked for their money back because they felt they purchased a good product.

Fifth the attention my product received from all of that witch hunt got the attention of a few larger companies who made me a rather large cash offer to purchase the formulation and I accepted it.

You want to try and play one sided stories you sniveling cock sucker, be sure you have all of the facts before you look like an idiot.

So in your childish terms, I win, keep sucking on MBRP's cock. No one owes you an apology, as all you've done is try and discredit me when you lack facts and details.

Oh ya, what I've also done is forward the messages from Jesse at MBRP posting private Summit Racing emails back to Summit. I wonder what this will do to MBRP and their largest accounts relationship as Summit sounded plenty pissed while on the phone and stated they do not condone that type of behavior.

Who's nuts am I swinging from? I'm reading a post, about a board member who I know squat about and a company I've never paid much attention to.

You, on the other hand? Rrrrrrright......

And third grade physics...dude, don't even try....lol.

I'll post this here since i posted it in the svtp thread as well.

I get a good laugh when people bring this back up. If i would trust anyone in the state of Pennsylvania about which chemicals to use or anything detail related it would be ^Seer. I've been to his house numerous times and have personally seen some of the high end cars he has detailed. Even the Detailing section of this forum benefits from having him here on a daily basis. People got butt hurt because they paid a lot for wax that was similar to a product that was cheaper! How does that make him a fraud? I'm pretty sure millions of companies do that everyday. I was actually at the car show he was coming to when this happened. He pulled in and we were all amazed. Needless to say i would of been just as pissed as him if this were me.

That was an interesting read from the GTO site and it referrenced to Seer having a mustang and claiming it was a Cobra, etc etc etc....

I can see where Mike T is coming from, it appears that in Seer's past there was some questionable things done, judging by the post dates they were 5 years ago...maybe he did those things, maybe he didn't, but we all have things in the past we are not proud of/made mistakes.

Since Seer has been on here he has not done anything shady, he offers plenty of advice on cars and detailing and up until that post I had no reason to doubt him.

But...from the outside looking in and not having a dog in the MBRP fight I could see where Seer's judgement/honesty could be questioned by someone doing a google search for his name.

I'm getting a kick out this 5 year old thread, so why did you keep dodging the PHD question?

I never dodged it, that thread has been hacked up to bits, especially due to the judgement.

What now? I had a 2003 Cobra back in 2003-2005. That was the last Mustang I had owned until March 2011, when I purchased a 2011 GT, then the GT500, and the 2012 GT.

That's like purchasing a karate DVD from Diamond Dave's Ninji school for 250 bucks

youtube diamond dave if you didn't get that one

Courts didn't see it that way. You also cannot take what you read on there for gospel as my account was unlocked and the mods/admins had used the username to poke fun and use as a troll account. So a lot of the original posts were no longer in tact.

I haven't read all this but I have the MBRP's on my 08 GT and love them. I heard them side by side on a GT500 next to mine and they sounded terrible.

My MBRP's look different though. Mine are a canister/stinger style. Pretty beefy and good construction. Yours look to be a chamber style? I didn't even see those listed on the MBRP site, are they just mufflers?

In any case, I've had good luck and love the sound. Sorry to hear they didn't work out for you.
