whats the actual difference between this and the 347 besides it being listed for a supercharged application? just the pulley size?

According to a search I did the idler diameter is reduced for the wp347.

I looked into it a while back. The only real difference is a double bearing on the idler pulley. Not sure if its actually 2 bearings side by side or 1 double row bearing. The other part number differences are just pulley diameter differences. As far as I could tell any modular water pump would physically fit and work assuming you had the correct belt length for the given pulley size.

I don't see why you would need a double bearing. One of those bearings has a load rating a LOT bigger than the load they see.

I'm curious why they said that. What's the difference?

he said that they were having a lot of issues with the added tension from the aftermarket tensioners and the superchargers. i also have an 18% overdrive crank pulley which was going to cause some clearance issues
