Thank you, and that's exactly what they did. Tuned it balls out on the dyno off of bank 2. Didn't add 3-5% fuel for real load, first street runs on both motors boom!

I'll use an acronym from another forum:
Torch
My
Shit

Curious where he is to respond to this?

Yeah thats key for a turbo car thats being tuned on the dyno imho. Load on the street and fuel demand is going to be more than what a dyno can/does simulate, everytime. Running it to the top of 4th gear on the dyno is just not the same things as hitting it on the street or track for a turbo car. I know spool alone for my car target boost comes in 1000 rpms quicker on the street than what it doesnt on the dyno. If the dynotune doesnt take this into account bad things can happen. Thats why I dont agree when people say its bc it needs "broken in" and dont go wot throttle right away, thats bs, you just frigging did a bunch or high mph/rpm pulls on the dyno but now you cant drive it? Makes no sense. "Hey you cars tuned and good to go and safe, now dont drive it ever" come on now.... I know Mike often finishes up tunes with a few street pulls for real load or adds a certain percentage of fuel based on how he knows his dyno is. I like to pick his brain everytime he tunes my car lol

I missed alot of the stuff in here I'm just giving my honest opinions on the topics brought up.

Thank God someone with common sense! I have told so many people that there is no such thing as break in! The motors fired up and then it's right on the dyno for the tune. Change the oil after the dyno and hammer down! The only thing that needs breaking in is the gears and clutch that's it!

Wheres your new custom sig Matt ?

I adressed what happened to botrh of those motors so many times I dont even care to regurgitate the I told you sos anymore. Called it the night the first one blew up, was right... and then AFTER BUILDING the fucking motor the same shit... Derr the street loads tha car harder. The car should have NEVER came out of the shop how it was, if the shop was concerned about it, well we ALLL know thewre were a multitude of ways to protect it now ... Dont we?

Here, I go:

So such inexperience on tuning matts car but marcs makes such big power.... wonder if the same guy tuned both cars.....

when my dad used to build circle track motors he always told me, any retard can make 600 or 700 hp. it takes someone who knows what they are doing to make it last.

Just got caught up after a few days off......Wowwwww. I think I knew that about the Wideband before I even turboed my car.

Jeremy is absolutely right about street driving vs. dyno tuning. My car reacts differently every day. Its very hard to simulate that on a dyno. My friend had his 09 wrx tuned on a combo of dyno/street driving with his tuner. I always thought that was the best way to go. I'd love to have a tuner go to the track with me and tune based on my passes.

So if having the wideband O2 sensor preturbo with all that heat and pressure are you going to change the sensor before you start tuning again? Or do you think that sensor would still be fine? In LC-1 instructions it says it can damage the sensor if installed before the turbo.

The sensor is already back in the down pipe. Moved it back on Sunday.

In for future responses. Matt so who is tuning the car now? I may have missed that.

I didn't mean change the sensor location, I meant changing out the sensor itself since it was in the improper location which many instructions say can lead to damage of the sensor itself.

I've had my wideband for about 2 years now and have already replaced it once about halfway through just to make sure. I keep an eye out for the bosch wideband 02's that my autometer wideband uses and grab one when they go on sale same with hto's. I effectively change my plugs and wideband sensor once a year, also did the front 02's as well somewhere in there lol
