I was so ignorant in 2008 when I got this car. If only had I known how this hotrod game is played by soooo many people. I could've saved myself an assload by lowballing the latest guy desperate to sell his built up money pit so he can buy himself into another money pit. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I would love to go back a couple years and wait for someone that was tired of there ride and made a deal. I was entertaining this one for a friend tonight if the OP was serious. It would be one hell of a deal and the OP would have definitely regreted it in the long run. There is no way you by a car and build it like this for 26k.

OP, Its done! Have fun and drive it. Thats my plan. And if a brand new 13' GT500 ( Red w/wh stripes) is in my driveway by ANYONE on Sat. though to trade I will be a big crying baby as I watch my dream car drive out my driveway. LOL

Matt, do you have resumes out? When do you get out? I secured a job to start a week after I got home for ets leave. I got paid double for three months lol.
The best advice I can give you, is to prepare months in advance for ets. Make the transition easy for yourself.
That and don't let a higher salary offer pull you away from a job you're comfortable in....a difficult lesson I'm trying to recover from since '09, lol.
Not sure what industry you are in, but indeed.com is a great start, usajobs is always great for gov't jobs, and if you are in a executive level position, ladders.com is a great website to find jobs where you make $100k+.
But I've learned that having a recruiter to vouch for you makes it tons easier getting a job at a great salary, they really fight for your salary because of the commission they make.
