I'm just assembling my strut (Koni Sport / H&R Race / MM CC Plates) and I'm wondering if it's worth to do the "Advanced racer installation" work (spacers stack configuration). I'll track the car once a week with my local lapping club, and few trackdays in the summer. Otherwise, I'll drive the car occasionally for my pleasure. It's not a daily drive.

How much it's improve the bump travel, and what's the other +/- advantage ?

Thanks !

And... Is anybody knows if the I do the "advanced racer installation" with the Koni Sport will cause the top of strut to interfere with the underside of the hood ?

I just installed these, along with Koni Sports and a GC coilover conversion kit onto my 2014 GT yesterday. I did not use any spacers under the plate at all, so maximum possible bump travel. This is with '14 struts, so it may be different on your car, but I had no hood clearance issues.

After talked with MM, there is no bump travel gain by doing the "advanced racer installation" with twin tube, only with inverted mono-tube strut. So I did one long spacer on top of plates and one short under. The gain are lowering the ride by 1/4" approx (long spacer thickness), then GC as well. Correct me if i'm wrong !
