I finally got the MT 275/35/20 and 305/35/20 tires mounted on my Shelby CS66 wheels, 45mm offset and Steeda ultralight springs. A little concerned about the rears, I measure about 1/8" outside the body edge. After some time now has anyone had any rubbing issues?

Wayne,

Like the look of your's.
Can't help on the M/T tires as I have not seen mine yet with them mounted.
Plus I'm running different wheels.
I am running M/T SC-5 wheels.

There is another member on here that is running the same size M/T tires and his is a Bright Yellow Mustang.
I don't recall which wheels he is running though.

How come you guys don't run a 305/35-20 square set up? With something like a 48 offset and a small spacer in front I would think everything should clear ok.

Another guy I know that has a Mustang is running the 275's up front with the same M/T SC-5 wheels.
That is as big with those wheels that one wants to go.

Like you say though maybe with different wheels you could run the larger sizes up front.

I went ahead and did the 305/35-20 square. The front has a small spacer. I may remove it, just have not decided since it was dark when I fished. Took the car for a spin.....scary. These tires are slippery as shit hope they get better.

Anyone running the 20x10 w/ a 50mm offset in a 305-35? I want to make the purchase, but nervous too. Currently I'm 275-35 square and want to stagger the 275-35 with the 305-35

It's been awhile I know. Wondering how the 305-275 setup has treated you guys? Rubbing bottoming out? I just bought 20x10.5-45 and 20x9-35 and want to do the same size. How are the M/T's? Would you buy them again?

I ran the 305/35-20's front and the 275/35-20's rear M/T Street Comp tires.
I had them on the M/T SC-5 20x9" fronts & 20x10.5" rears.
I also had adjustable coil overs in the rear.
Bump-stops removed.
LCA relocation brackets.
(I'm not telling you that you have to have the above I'm telling you what I have)

Zero issues running them .............

Cool. Thanks. I've been researching Mustang forums like a maniac for about two weeks. My only suspension mod is Steeda ultralight springs. I'm pretty confident I won't have issues. I'm running 20x10.5 et 45 rear and 20x9 et 35 front. A lot of people have done it but most posts give initial impression rather than long term satisfaction kinda info.
I pulled the trigger on the rears. NT555r, trying to get a hold of the 555 G2's through Amazon. I have a credit I need to burn with them.

If anyone is interested in that square set up let me know. I sold the Mustang with the stock wheels. The AMR Micky Thompson set up needs to go. The car hooked like it was on rails once the greasyness of the new tires wore off.

The wheels are like new no blemishes and I only put a couple thousand miles on the tires so they are nearly new also.. I'll be posting a for sale thread so keep an eye out or hit me up before you go and buy new to get a hell of a deal.

For a 10.5" rear rim, ideally the ET should be 48.35 - 51.35 mm.
(based on a 10" rim having a 42 /45 mm ET)

if I wasn't running sportlines it would be fine, it does rub a little. if I ran pro kit or k springs there wouldn't be a problem

Damn! Now I'm worried. I just bought almost the exact setup as you but with Steeda Ultra Lights. Think it'll be okay???

you should be, eibachs website say the springs I got, drop the rear 2.3"s, I don't think ultra lights come close to that

Yeah the Steedas only drop it 1.5 in the rear. Car is moth balled for the winter so I won't know for about another month. I'll post some pics and report back. I'm itching pretty bad to see how it looks/drives.
