Hello all.
After 3 failed attempts to get a used Tuner(all locked), I said screw it and just ordered a CIA JLT Series 3 and a Bama tuner (yeah free tunes for life) :sparta: from AmericanMuscle.com

I have been slowly aquiring parts for my new Stang, so far i have a O/R X pipe, and the parts i just ordered from AM.com

over thanksgiving i will be installing all my parts and uploading the Bama tune.

looking forward to really opening up this pony... I will try and take some pictures/videos of my installs to help out future DIY's...

Excellent Forum.

Good luck with the build, bro. You car is gonna feel like night and day with those mods. I was very impressed with how these cars perform with a few bolt ons. If you really want to get the most out that 3v, get some long tubes. Really opens up the top end.

Update:

I received my Bama Tuner and JLT Series 3 yesterday. Install was super easy on the intake and the Bama Tune went in with NO problems.

WOW i must say that now this car feels worthy to be called a GT.

Throttle response was way better and the transmission (auto) shifts like a dream now. I tried the race tune first and was really impressed.

Ended up with the V2 performance tune after it was all said and done.

I this weekend I will be adding in an O/R Xpipe. i will be running it with the stock GT Mufflers.

Anyone running O/R Xpipe with stock Muffler? Hows it sound and do you like it? Saving up for axle backs.

Super excited to continue my build.

why not go with the axle backs before the o/r x pipe? the first thing i did was axle backs an i couldn't be happier. don't even feel like fuckin with the rest of the exhaust now.

Pretty much how I felt after putting SLPs on my '11. I initially wanted to add an o/r x but I've seen a lot of people report that it makes the car quieter? I want about 1.5x more volume. lol.

i'm not gonna lie, i want long tube headers not becoz of sound or performance but coz they are sexy bitches. unfortunately, i'm a cheap bastard. long tubes + sct + a tune = more than i want to spend right now. they aren't that damn sexy...yet.

seriously tho, i love the way my car sounds now. i went with pype bombs an couldn't be happier. i'm actually afraid to do anything else becoz i'm worried it will fuck somethin up. it's juuust loud enuf an no drone. i'm gonna leave it alone for a while. i get more compliments on the exhaust note than anything else.

Update: i have got the car mostly where i want it.

currently: Running the Bama V2 tune with JLT 3 and O/R X pipe and some custom Magnaflow Magna packs welden in.

Sound: With the CIA O/R X and Magna Packs this thing sounds down right mean. and NO drone @ 100MPH i am turning 3000K RPMS and sounds great. Crusing around its got a nice rumble but when you step into it it will let you know its got some pipes. If you hit it passing a parked car with an alarm it will set it off, especially if you are in a parking garage

Winning = setting off car alarms.

I have an off road x pipe on my Bullitt. I welded in some "flow through mufflers" to take the edge off. In hindsight, I think I would prefer off road H pipe. Going long tubes soon so I am not worried about it right now.

4.10s are amazing with the auto trans. Consider that as your next mod for sure.
