Took these with my Droid so they are not the best but not bad. My buddy at the firehouse has been looking for some wheels for his Challenger and I convinced him to pick up a set of 20" Viper reproduction wheels. Needless to say, they look freaking amazing!

You can really tell how much bigger the Challengers really are in this pic.

And one of my car solo just for good measure. This is a Mustang forum afterall. :beerdrink:

Daniel,

Man you are right there is a lot of difference in size.
I don't recall seeing a Mustang right beside a Challenger before.

Bit I do like the Challenger especially the 392 one.

Nice Pic of your Bright Red Mustang by itself.

Major difference in size !!!

But tell your buddy he needs to drop that thing!

Yeah, I love the Challengers. Definitely the best looking of the three retro models IMO. I also looked at them before I bought my card, even test drove a used 6M R/T. It was fun to drive but like you guys said, it is huge. It was like driving a boat, lol. And the interior leaves a lot to be desired as well.

I have been telling him he needs to lower it but he is still on the fence. He has absolutely no mechanical skill (this is his first "sporty" car) but I told him I would do it for him. I will have to show him this thread to try to persuade him a little more!

Yeah, lowering a car is just too easy these days! No reason not too, especially when there's a friend willing to help out.

I too was looking at the Challenger's before I bought my 'Stang. Test drove one and was impressed with how smooth it was on the road. But for the $$ they're asking for it, I just couldn't convince myself that it was a better buy over the Mustang. Plus, the 5.0L in the 'Stang was much more impressive than the R/T.

i agree with you guys on the challanger, it's big. i've never seen one next to a stang before and it's huge. i don't think they are worth the money either.

I'll just reiterate what most of you said..

Challengers are big and over-priced. But they are damn sexy... I'd love one to park next to the 'stang one day...

There was a challenger next to mine briefly....until the third honk of the horn, then I only saw it in the rearview lol.

I do like them, but they are boats at approx 4300lbs

I love the way your red car sits with the rims. Looks like its ready to jump. Are your fender badges the ones that come with the Shelby GT?

First, Mellow in various shots with my buddys SRT8. Its actually a unique car. The 1st 1000 were numbered cars and his is 666. Steve Saleen sponsored his car with a full SMS blower and brake treatment. He has well over 600 rwhp in this beast.

I am planning on getting a Challenger soon but I am going to add a twist to it. This is exactly what I am planning to do, but with different rims, though the size is perfect. I dont want the diameter bigger than these pics. I am taking it to the master of hand made all metal wide body conversions, Topo.
