How do you guys feel about the 326 (Iron block) with 13:1 CR?

I feel like that would be a great NA motor. I feel like you could get a decent amout of power out of it, no?

I've been thinking about doing a 326 with about 11.5:1. Hell I think its possible to do a 351 big bore, Just not sure how durable the MMR 351R block is for the street.

I'm currently waiting for all the parts to show up for my 322 12:1 build with ported heads. Hoping for 400/400 with emissions on and cats in place.

12:1 is the highest compression I can get with flat top pistons and a 3.75" stroke when using my 53cc ported heads. It's also as high as I want to go living in an area with few e85 stations.

Well, keep in mind, I have a tough "choice" to make....

I would have to give up my current car, on 21 PSI and Nitrous, to build this NA 3V....

This car has a D&D Viper Spec T56, that has been additionally (drastically) improved and modified over the standard D&D unit.

There is nothing like, on my 80 mile trek to work, being the fastest car in sight...

While having cold AC, DVD Player, Sound System, and a great ride via IRS.

I would have to give that up for a gutted race car, with half the power, with a huge gear, that would scare the world away driving down the highway.

Decisions....

Sweet ride.

I'm excited to see your build come together. I'm following your thread.

Sweet ride.

Thanks cbrtrx. Hoping it comes "alive" after the latest revisions. Justin (VMP) gets back in town on the 20th, so I am impatiently waiting the drive over to his dyno to have it tuned. Hopefully on the street, it works well. ;)

It's not bad. Just your average TVS Powered 2004 Cobra.

Thanks though!

Well thank you! I don't think I have ever owned a car that got so many compliments. Maybe I should just keep it and build it further. Decisions..
