Hi!

Just got my new to me 2010 GT. I’m coming from Mitsubishi and BMW forums and modding so definitely a different world but I got tired of waiting too long for parts that cost too much.

Car came with a JLT CAI, MBRP axle-back exhaust, deleted mid cat/s, and a SCT Bama Tuner running a 93 “perf” bama tune at 130,000 miles. The car has no real recorded maintenance history so I’m trying to catch up on that before doing any mods. Any tips or advice is super welcome, and thanks for having me

Welcome from Miami FL.

Car looks super clean.

I suggest regular maintenance (oil, filters, coolant and any belt& hoses).
I've changed the oil and filter, new spark plugs, and a new cabin air filter. I am suspicious the previous owner never changed the trans fluid so that's up next on my maintenance list. Any particular belts/hoses or anything else more partial to wear that I should give a better look over? After maintenance is done it seems a new tune is definitely in order.

Replace the Fuel filter for sure…

Consider a brake fluid flush too.

Check the brakes, rotor's, caliper's, brake pads, and brake fluid, e-brake, etc. And also all the suspension components.

Several folks have had nothing but grief with Bama tunes. You might want to consider getting a real tune, like from Lito, or VMP tuning.
When I bought my own 2010 GT auto, used, back in April 2011, it was leaking badly on the rear driver's side shock. Replaced the entire suspension with the Roush setup. Then later on, installed a bunch of steeda parts as well... like the steeda adjustable front strut mounting scheme, which then allows for plenty of negative camber on the front tires. Ok, then the car handles properly. Other items added were the DSS one piece aluminum DS, and also the white line watts link, and Eaton tru trac Limited slip differential. The oem LSD is junk. Still other items added were the all important BMR adjustable LCA lowering brackets, used when the car is lowered. Both oem LCA's and oem upper UCA also replaced with BMR products.
