Signed upped not to long ago, and want to introduce my current project.

It's windivelle blue 06 godzilla/10r80 swap. So far it's all going sorta smooth. Hit an obstacle on headers at moment. No one make a swap headers for s197 zilla swap yet. Looking at custom set or getting fox swap and modifying.

But here is combo up to date.
7.3 pull out motor,
Summit Racing swap mounts,
New 10r80 trans,
Ford racing intake w/gt500 TB,
Hollley fuel rails,
Mars control pak,
BMR suspension front and rear,
Koni struts & shocks,
8.8 from 13 gt,

Working on header and fuel System at time being.

That's a really cool project.
It's amazing how much more compact an engine the 7.3 Godzilla is compared to the 5.0 Coyote despite having almost 50% more cylinder displacement.
That'll be a torque monster.

Great progress! As a fellow godzilla swapper, take a look at LS headers. The flanges are different but the port spacing is nearly identical. I bought a set of log style headers that I cut the flanges off and welded godzilla flanges onto. Plenty of room for long tubes but as you stated, no one makes them yet and I didn't want to sink a couple grand in for custom headers. Stock manifolds will not work in an S197 due to steering shaft clearance.

Also, no stock s197 hood (including the GT500 hood) will clear the FP intake. I went with a BTR intake to just barely clear a GT500 hood.

soo how much is in this all together thus far
Most cost I have is in all the new parts, wiring kit, motor trans. 06 I had, me and buddy worked deal for trade.

But if I would have to guesstimate a total cost to date would say 12k maybe. But thats nocost for car, was running driving 6cyl when I started.

I looked at LS header option. Doable but I want go that route yet. Had talking with local builder for custom made set. But would mild steel. Was going to coat about $1900. I found place starting to make them. I called and they we surprised I heard were ready, just quite sure for s197 yet. He did say he would be making a batch for s197 with 2" pipes. Since I was second caller about them. Shop that told they were building them is 1st set, mine should be 2nd. And likes to make a batch of, 5 sets. Hopefully recieve them mid jan.

Call ultimate headers about the 7.3 s197 swap headers.

Thanks for the info! When I contacted ultimate headers, they did not have a plan for S197 headers and were looking for a car to develop them. Glad to see they found one.

Ultimate Headers is starting to make them. I talked to them and they have designs & jigs ready. Suppose to have 5 set made up by mud Jan. Two sets sold, mine and a performance shop for their hot rod.

Yep add me to the list! Put a deposit down for a set. Roughly 8 week lead time from what I was told.

Did you get the FP intake manifold fit under the stock hood or is it a no-go like zachmd1 said?
