Regular engine oil will be fine. Just let the cam followers soak overnight in a container of clean oil together with the lash adjusters. This will ensure that the needle bearings have some lubrication before you start the engine.

Tascaparts says these are Ford OEM parts that carry the standard Ford Warranty but I don't see them on the authorized reseller list. I assume this is a good place to buy OEM?

Question: Is it possible to change the lash adjusters without removing the cam?
I just started to change the rocker arms with a spring compressor and was not able to get the adjuster of the intake valve out.

Can I leave the old adjusters in? Or have they changed them too?

FYI: To change only the roller follower with the valve spring compressor is ridiculous. I changed 4 within 1.5h now.
And the lash adjusters are not changeable. Take the CAM out.

Unfortunately, I don't have a wedge tool or a camshaft bolt and had to buy it from China or USA, so around 50+ $, not a fast option for me.
