Congrats. looks good!

Yes, and notice how my car is not in its space behind it! That means mine is working and we have time for his! Lol

I'm still loaded up for testing next weekend.

Picked up a flexplate today for Mason, still looking for a rear main support plate if anyone has one. I'm trying to make the swap as complete as possible.

Awesome, good luck at the track next weekend, I was going to try to get to the track this weekend, but IDK if that's going to happen or not.

MMR sells those rear main plates for like $25 IIRC, I know fuck MMR but they do have them..

I would rather go to a wrecking yard and pull the motor from a wrecked car and pay them $40 for it, but thanks.

He has a better chance of driving my car down the track on low boost after some practice in his ride then getting FI before he graduates. Like my wife told me, this is his car, not my second car. Lol

Best thing i have heard in my lifeee.. cant wait for that one

Ha ha, you opened a can o worms there my friend. Might as well start planning for it.

Car looks great, BTW.

He's still not driving mine! Lol

In all honesty though, I never would have thought back then that he would sell his 250r to get it.

Well, this weekend Mason and myself will be installing the following.

New Long block built by myself
10.5:1 CR
balanced with a stock crank
H beam rods
Manley flat tops
GT500 oil pump
Heads ported by myself with unshrouded stock valves and lots of love. Comp springs and 127500 cams and springs
Used (and I mean rarely used) DOB kit with 3" pulley
Inovators West 10% OD
GT500 (2010+ silver), Elbow, throttle body, 2010+ GT500 CAI + resonator eliminator & AirRaid Synthamax filter
GT500 Dual Fuel pumps w/harness/fdpm
55lb 2013 GT500 injectors
AFCO Pro dual fan Heat Exchanger
Meziere WP136S Heat Exchanger Pump
Roush Degass bottle + cap
IAT Sensor
IAT Sensor Pigtail
Completed Frankentensioner
2010 GT thermostat + gasket
Summit 3/4 to -12AN manifold fittings (2)
Summit 90 -12AN barb fittings (2)
We already installed the GT500 pumps last weekend along with the Afco heat exchanger and Meziere pump.

Still need to pick up some hoses and clamps for the HE.

I'm going to go ahead and eat crow now! But, he still is not ready for my car. He saw that last weekend lining up with me at a track. He's ready for more power though, just have to bring in the boost and timing as we see fit. Having the parts does not make it as fast as it can be. Manuel and myself have that control. We will bring on the power as I see fit. Baby steps here, we have to remember it is a DD that has to say on pump gas as long as the 5r55s is in the car.

Mason has decided to give up his life (to a teenager) and summer to work for me this summer to make the car all he wants. Believe me, this is where you learn what a dollar is worth!

That's a hell of a list for a teenager, actually for anyone lol. Good deal making him work for it too, he'll appreciate it that much more.

Good luck with the installs, some great mods. Mason should be on cloud nine!

I did install the IC lines backwards but we will fix that in the morning before starting the data logs for Manuel.

Looks good

I'm not sure what caused the previous dob owners motor to blow, but keep an eye on coolant because that's what caused mine to bend a rod.

Did you find coolant in your cylinder before you pulled your head?

No but I had ran it some. The leak was in the manifold and I found plenty in there
