I have the TCI ratchet shifter for my 05 GT but I never liked the reverse lock out toggle it came with. The prototype picture shows a toggle with two holes in it instead of a flat paddle, soooooo I got a piece of aluminum billet and made my own with wood shop tools. It sure isn't perfect by any means but considering it was all done with a drill press, a router, and a couple of sanders it is at least respectable. I did the "brushed Aluminum" look on the toggle.

The evening before I made a simple shifter handle out of another piece of billet to replace the stock one that had the TCI logo onit. It is pretty straight forward and I did the polished aluminum look on this for some contrast.

Thanks,

It took me almost 3 hours to make that toggle but it was worth the time in my opinion, at least it's unique.

The shifter T-handle took almost as long because of all the polishing involved, but it feels better than the TCI one.

I decided to polish the toggle and make a new Tee handle with a larger radius on the edges this afternoon, I think it looks a bit better than the first version, and the Tee fits the palm nicer.
