Quick vid..... sorry for the low light

So far it runs good, sounds normal and no CEL's

Only thing is I have to get the air out of the coolant system which is a bitch....

Awesome, now you just need a set of lopey cams and your set man.
Well I did keep the valve compresser and wedge tools for a reason haha...
Nice dude! Gotta enjoy sitting back and saying job well done. Now get that thing tuned and go shred some pavement!
Thanx man, next month it should be back on the dyno at efilogics for its blow thru tune @12-14 psi..... Oh, thanx again for sending me that fuse. i got it on thrusday like you said

New cams, springs, smaller pulley and you'll be seeing 600+ at the wheels
I know.... very tempting.... Hey scott, did you have to work air out of your replacement motor? Right now Im somewhat air bound..... Just a ton of heat cycles with the overflow cap off to free it up?

I picked up my replacement motor from Steve Poe... It was a stock, nearly full dressed longblock. I just swapped valve covers and adding pullies, fuel rails, injectors, plugs, new oil, and turned her on....
The recent built 5.4 I assembled for a friend I we ran for a short time on a handheld tune, checked for leaks, and little odds and ends, it runs breathers on both valve covers but once we ran it through several cycles we replaced the fluids and checked for any contaminants. Air is bound to get in there, just follow your instructed break pattern according to JDM and you'll be golden man.

Well that fact that it started up is a plus lol just kidding. Glad to see it up and running and drive that thing down to Raceway Park on March 12 to put some miles on it!

Looks like Im plaining on making the drive, unless Im ready for the dyno by then.... I doubt that though. Ill keep ya posted....

Well, just got back from her maiden 15 mile voyager..... Everything felt great..... Motor is responsive and smooth. I do gotta say Ill have to get used to the prothane motor mounts.... Somewhat shaky..... Also, Im real happy with the Mcleod RST, just the most perfect pedal feel and engagement..... Fuckin beautiful :thumb:

Thats why you pay so much for the McLeod....its damn good stuff
So true.... You get what you paid for... Nothing more nothing less... In total I paid $950 for the brand new Mcleod and used RAM alum flywheel...

Yeah there is a big difference between them and the SPEC setups.
Oh yea, there is.... My Spec stg 3+ was real heavy which murdered the stock slave.... Also, just going to a twin disc helps too. Much less of a agressive pressure plate.... This RST pretty much feels like stock but has a 1000hp rating.... Its almost un-real lol
