First trip to the 1/4 mile since the Whipple install.. Can't say as I'm happy with the results but still it's my fastest 1/4 mile pass ever. I was really expecting 11's last night, but the track prep was questionable and the weather was not the greatest.. DA was 3250 for one pass.

WHY are my 330' so slow? even in my other 1/8 passes which I ran 7.7 the 330' is still in the 5's? I don't get it.

Could my gears be hurting me this much now that the Whipple is installed? any feedback would be appreciated.

Those ETs are not bad at all. You may want to gear up a little (4.10s or 3.73s), because the boost is compensating more now.

Your 60' time is killing your ET. With 4.30 gears and you having a stick shift your 60' time should be low 1.6's at least if not high 1.5's. I am not sure what rpm's you are launching at but I would increase it a couple of 100 rpm's each time until you are having issues with your tires spinning. Your 1/4 mph says you should be in the 11's also.

What tires are you running on the rear?

I have gotten a 1.64 60' time with my automatic running an 11.92 with the HO kit at 10 psi and my trans does not shift into 4th properly (it hits the rev limiter a few times first but we are working that).

Last week I was pulling 1.64 and 1.68 60' I also was running the 1/8 in 7.7 and 7.8's @91.....last night as you can see I was only at 86-88 mph...and only getting 8's and a 7.9.

I still think I should be better in the 330' shouldn't I be seeing 4.9 or 4.8's?


Running M/T ET streets and launching between 4k and 5k.
Last night I was getting tire spin at 4k.

what were the atmospheric conditions? that could explain some of the ET, also sounds like the track conditions were not great if u were spinning with a 4000 rpm launch. I'd think u'd be able to launch 5000 and hook with MTs

Da was around 3200....and the track elevation is 918. very humid in fact the rain shut us down an hour early last night.

that's about a 11.85 -11.9 adjusted @119 for DA

Almost 117 mph is not bad, especially for those conditions.
