Could you just un plug the o2 sensors and be good? I ran mine for about 15 seconds without sensors and it threw no code... I turned em off anyways

it wont instantly throw a code. not sure how many cycles it needs to decide to throw a code but the GT takes about 20 miles of city driving if I dont have the 02s plugged in to throw a code.

If they plug the obd in during the inspection, you will fail for having you o2's turned off

i wont pass inspection with an orx

You can pass if your O2's are turned on and are programmed to not report codes.

I went to get my car dyno'ed for base numbers and was talking to the tuner about O/R pipes and Mass emissions. He said using the strategy above you will pass every time. Having them on reports them as "Ready" for the OBDII, and having no codes, means no codes to fail on!

I think I may try adding a 2nd non fouler to the BS ones to see if that works to make it more like the ones in the walkthroughs.

This sounds like your best bet. It seems as if the BS ones do not pull the o2 out far enough from the exhaust flow. Do the o2's sit flush in the BS ones? for the walkthough pepboy non foulers I used, the o2 just fits through them. I still have not had a CEL. I reccomend buying the pepboy non foulers to everyone to try first. Just spend the extra 10 mins to drill them. It's worth it.

Going on close to 3 months now and still no CEL for me :) To be better safe than sory make sure you double up the non foulers so to pull the o2 farther from the exhaust flow.

By double you just mean your installing the drilled one then screwing the second on it as the instructions say...?

Your not saying you do that again (having 4 on there)...?

So Installed my Catless X pipe with no tune about a month ago. I used the spark plug non-fouler trick, so I wouldn't get the dreaded CEL. This mod actually works! I haven't received a CEL once. If anyone is considering going with an offroad exhaust without the expense of a tuner or tune, then this is a great alternative. My car drives the same if not better. I have better throttle response and mpg. Just thought I'd share...that is all...

Which non-foulers did you get? There are two sizes, aren't there?

That is correct.

I believe it was 18mm. You can always have the parts guy pull a new o2 sensor (for your year stang) from the back and test fit it in the store. Dont forget the anti-sieze and use electrical heat wrap tape for the o2 wires (the wires will be closer to the hot transmission).

I have a long tubes with an h-pipe with hi-flow cats and still cannot pass. I have the non-foulers from brenspeed i am going to put on tomorrow. Hopefully i will not get a CEL after 100-200 miles. This shit is a damn headache! If this doesn't work i am not sure what i will be able to do. I can't throw the stock h-pipe on because i have long tubes. Suggestions??

Bribery. Gave up on the non foulers and put the pypes universal cats in. No more CEL. Find out if it passes inspection after next paycheck.
