let me get this right
so if my valve covers leak you put in new cams
that means if I have to change oil then I can put a stroker motor in
and if I get a flat tire I should upgrade my brakes
this is a interesting theory

Any combination of cams, valve covers, or ported heads.

Absolutely not. If you have an oil leak then a motor would be a logical option. It could also be combined with the above heads, cams package.

and if I get a flat tire I should upgrade my brakes

That's just crazy talk. A flat tire should be fixed with a new set of 4 NT05 tires.

Not theory, it's how those of us with ocd think. I'm pretty sure this covers a majority of the members.

Response in bold.

Yup, trucker has it all wrong. There has to be a logical progression, otherwise it's just an excuse to spend money. A flat tire has nothing to do with brakes. But if your pedal is spongy or you're experiencing fade then by all means upgrade to better brakes along with ss lines and top of the line rotors. We may be OCD but there is a very methodical and logical progression in our reasoning.
