Dunno if it’s normal or not but the passenger side valve cover filter/breather has way more smoke coming out of it than the drivers side one. I can’t see any smoke from the drivers side one but the pass side is very noticeable.

I’m doing tuning with Lito and was trying to eliminate any possible vacuum leaks. Did away with EGR setup and all hoses. The only vacuum line I have is the one going to the brake booster. Have a T in it for both fuel pressure regulators (didnt want to eliminate factory regulator for OBDII readings).

The car will often idle up to 2500 or 3100rpm and just hang there for awhile…kinda scary sometimes!!

Hopefully this vid will load but what would cause the passenger to smoke out like this? Thanks!!

The breather on the drivers side will never vent if you still have the pcv valve in the cam cover. I've cut mine out so both sides of the engine can vent. Currently you only have the passenger side venting the crankcase. And I might suggest replacing your 710 cap with a breather too. Central Florida Motorsports has a nice piece with a check valve in it.

Normal for that one breather to blow out vapors and moisture. You may want to put in a catch can there, as that filter will likely soon start blowing out oil under boost (if boosted).
If the driver side if vented, too, with no PCV in place, the vapors and fumes will vent out the filters like that.

Awesome, thanks, think I got it figured out!! Another forum was saying there’s no PCV valve on the 2006 which really had me twisted. I took the breathers off and used the PCV hoses

The pcv valve is built into the valve cover itself. I have a new set of valve covers that I'm getting ready to throw on after I do the oil pump, but I will post a couple of pics of where and how to remove the valve.

When I installed a different crank vent setup in my 2010 this 90* piece of tubing is what I removed. It has the check valve built into it and is hidden under a steel baffle. Sorry I don’t have a pick of the baffle plate but you can see where the rivets have been ground away inside the valve cover and what fittings I replaced it with.
