Hey everyone im fairly new to S197 forums. I have a 2006 Mustang Gt and i am currently looking to purchase an ON 3 Turbo kit. I somewhat know what i need to complete the kit. Now my question is would it be smart to buy all the components that i need from On3 such as injectors, Maf, Fuel pump, etc. My goal is to have 450rwp. Any feedback is aprreciated!

As long as you get reputable brand stuff you will be fine. Do a search on the forum you will find a lot of build threads with install info and tips and tricks. As well as info on supporting mods etc, there is a ton of info on this forum. I would personally avoid any fuel pump or injectors from on3 and save yourself the trouble as the quality/reliability isn't there and you don't want to risk fuel as it keeps the motor safe under boost.

I installed the on3 kit on my 2006 GT a month ago. I went with their MAF and fuel pump but purchased my injectors from American muscle because they weren't that much more. I highly recommend upgrading to the 67mm ball bearing. I had the 70mm on it for a week before I bought the 67

Pick up a set of Frpp 47lb Injectors or find a set of used 60s if you wanna save a few bucks get an hpx maf, and ask jeremyH to hook you up with one of his walbro 405 pumps. Fuel system is not something I'd gamble with off brand parts on. That's what I ran on my turbo setup and had great drivability and reliability.

Thank you guys for the replies, yea i want to make sure i get the best fuel system possible within my budget. Ill more than likely go with the 47lb inectors, 340lph fuel pump, and Diablo Mafia Maf

Any specific injectors that you guys would recommend?
It's been covered below. But IMO for 450whp the 39lb Cobra injectors with a 340-390lph pump will be plenty. Oversizing injectors & pump is good for having room to grow and/or for E85 capability, but if they're too big for your setup, it will make it difficult to tune.

The EV6 47lb injectors will work fine. Many others have used it. The disclaimer is there probably because Bama can't tune for those injectors.

i don't have a picture of the run with the 67mm but here is my final run on wastegate pressure and the 70mm. When I get home I'll snap a picture so you can see the difference the ball bearings and slightly smaller compressor wheel make.

My only complain with the 70 is the spool time. I also recommend when budget permits to buy a better wastegate. Mine sticks a little before it starts to dump properly. In the latest dyno graph you can see the torque dip a little when it does it.
