ah well, who would have thought bolting a blower on the new 5.0s would be the safe thing to do lol.

The same guy also swapped a TR6060 in the car so I'm sure he can afford to fix the engine. If someone at Ford notices a swapped trans I dont see much happening warranty-wise.

This is actually getting a bit depressing, people saying they have a handle on it then BOOM!.
I know it's not a problem stock, but what if people keeping the car stock aren't pushing it enough for it to happen?
Makes me lean towards a casting problem... again just a feeling, signs point to me being wrong but I can't shake it.

If I had a 5.0 I'd leave it stock until paid for then put a supercharger on.

If I had one of those 11+ GTs, I'd definitely rip that 5.0L out ASAP and throw a 3V into it.

I'm such a nice guy that I'll even offer my 3V as an even trade to any of your 5.0L guys who are worried and want to make the swap.

Sucks. Isn't that like the 4th or 5th car for brenspeed?

I would like to know what he was doing prior to the failure... No one seems to fes up what they were doing when they blow their #8 cylinder.

The 5.0 guys didn't read the fine print when purchasing to meet global warming and the greenhouse effect.

It plainly states:

Page 4: Second paragraph:

To save fuel, the car will drop a cylinder............literally.

LOL!!!!:roflmao: 3V FTW!!!:la:

Damn, not good. Friend of mine blew his (Bama Tune) after doing a 60-160 pull. Blew when he was slowing down after the pull (engine down revving)
