I hate to be that guy asking for opinions, especially since everyone's personal taste is so different. I am tore between a few things 1st if you think my car looks best with billet style grille or GT grille, also my GT grille does have a color match pony but what looks better fogs blacked out or not?

Now the next question..... Hood vinyl or not? I'm happy with outcome of the quality(and keep in mind I'm extremely picky) but not sure I'm sold on the look.

I know everyone is going to have mixed opinions, I also know it's my car my choice. Just want a second opinion before I change things again.

I'm partial to the blacked out fogs on the GT grill. I love that look. As for the vinyl, I'm torn on it. It looks pretty good but it's a bit showy for my taste.

1 vote for blacked out fogs, no vinyl, and then black the pony in the grille out with some dip. Done.

I like the honeycomb grill better because it matches your lower grill.

And I don't like the vinyl. The shape of the hood and the contrast makes it look like an elephant man. Without though looks killer.

I think the billet grill looks much better in person. It looks like crap in some pics IMO, and i have one currently on my own car.

I like the Vinyl, it brings out the cowl look, but i dont like the red pin stripe.

I vote for billet grill or fog grill with a blacked out pony. Keep the vinyl but loose the red stripe.

I'm sure the billet looks better in person but just think the bottom should match.

Just went through the same thing, I had the stock grille with blacked out fogs, I then bought the shelby gt grille, it looked stupid in chrome so I dipped it black and then I started to question if it was an upgrade or downgrade.
I think the billet looks better in real life then in pics, I also think it needs something to break up the black, I ordered a small pony to stick on the side paying tribute to the old mach 1's, in pictures this seems to look better, I also think that having other black to tie into the grille color makes a difference. I have a cdc chin painted like a GTCS bumper and that ties the look together I think.

With those options I kind of lean toward keeping the vinyl, but go with stock grille w/ blacked out fogs.

I've starred at the vinyl all weekend, everytime I leave with my other car I stare at it and just can't get used to it. I think its gonna go

If you are set with the options listed then I would say Billet grille with no vinyl on the scoop.

If you are open to options maybe consider the Eleanor grille and painting the hood from the contour lines by the grille back. I will post up a pic in a minute... for some reason the website isn't liking my links today.
