Hey does anyone known which Optima battery fits in a 2007 Mustang GT no matter where I look I can't find out what battery I need. I've seen these Optima batteries in tons of Stang so there must be one that fits... just need a little help

Thanks

The tray is bigger than the battery, so I know the Yellow and Red fit. I did get a custom holder designed for the optima but not necessary.

I would just get a battery relocator kit and put it in the trunk if i was going to splurge on a Optima. Have you looked at lithium batteries? They seem to be the future.

I wouldn't waste my money on any Optima battery. Over the last few years their quality has gone to crap. But yes they fit, lol. Optima 96R

I was a big optima fan until after owning two both failed the same way. Just wouldnt hold charge.I think one lasted maybe 5 years.
I now have wallyworld Everstarts. One thats 7 years old and one 4 yrs and still going strong. The third is just over 1 yr old. Umm, make that 4 . I forgot about the 91 fox, the Interstate batt died after 12 years. lol

H5/Group-47 Lithium Car Battery – Antigravity Batteries

why are people stuck in the stone ages, are you buying wood cased batteries too?

Nope, just have not embraced the new tech in batteries. PbSO4 just plain works.

Lithium takes a special charger to charge and or jump. I've seen them explode.

have to support the new tech for the cost to come down - think of all the fuel and brakes you'll save with the weight savings

I'll go with one next time. Have a motorcraft in there now. Wonder how long the lithiums last?

Sorry, shaving 50 lbs will do didly squat for brakewear or performance you can see on a 3500-3800 lb car. I ran my 350 cca lithium iron batt in my car for a track event at WGI. No noticable difference in feel or laptimes.

In drag racing terms, it would be worth about 0.05 seconds ET. If 100 lbs = 0.1 seconds. Are you 0.05 seconds consistent? I aint lmao

I've had poor results with Optima's also. Had at least two in my car over 8 years, the current one was put in service about 18 months ago and is limping along now.

Didn't know about those, I like it just for the weight alone. Two Optimas in 15 years, so I think I'm doing alright. Although may look at lithium batteries on the next replacement.
What Optima goes ina mustang I can't find that information anywhere ?
