I am thinking about selling my car. It is a 2006 with eagle crank forged rods and pistons. I'm just wondering if I should get the motor rebuilt and put the stage 3 heads on it and try to sell it for around 20 grand or just part it out and try to sell it stock. The motor has a lot of blow by. I kind of tend toward rebuild because I don't like selling junk.

just buy a used stock motor and put it in there and retune it would be much cheaper, then part out the forged internals, dont rebuild and put a ton of money into something your goin to sell anyways

Second on parting it out. Even though it'll slightly be more of a headache to do so, you'll probably get more money that way.

If you're going to be spending any money, it should be on returning it to stock. You'll never see money for heads and a retune again.
